won't change too much.
First my opinion to all those who wants to get an US MBA,as always, go to the
top one. While what's the first class? It is not the top 50 schools. Actually
there is a very clear gap between these shools. The top Business School List
includes
Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, MIT, Kellogg, Chicago, Columbia (top 10 shools.)
Tuck, Fuqua, Haas, Michigan, NYU, UCLA, Darden (top shools)

yet. Nevertheless I was just reading Viswanathan's paper on liquidity, and
he seems really excellent. I adored Johnson the most out of the three,
probably because it has Maureen O'Hara and Bob Jarrow. Jarrow is among the
greatest geniuses in fixed incomes and credit research, and you know, O'Hara

Rising ranking? It should be declining ranking. Fuqua used to be ranked top
10 even by the US News and Reports.
health sector management(best in US)? Have you heard that Wharton has a HCM
program?
You need to get information from reliable channels, and choose school based
on your short term and long term goals.

识我朋友，一起吃饭，得到了如下信息。第一，associate职位，需要是名校MBA （M7+
hass, stern； darden fuqua ross也可以，但是貌似地理位置太偏，他们懒得去)；
第二，也招analyst, 需要本科；第三，还有一堆什么asset management的职位，需要
postgrad, 大概是MS，PHD，没问具体要求；第四，不招quant，据说国内quant过剩，
只需要极少数的名校PHD，加一大堆名校计算机数学系的本科生，即使这样，基本也就
是装个门面，跟外国投行比的时候显得比较有面子 |

再多说句，MFE这种多数在工学院吧，商学院的本科硕士根本用不上这些数学和编程，
多数出来是要靠嘴皮子+逻辑+look混咨询，ibd之类的，mfe这活对他们来说有点算吃力
不讨好。
而且真正商学院的课也不是你随随便便想蹭就能蹭上的，要不然人家收那份钱白收的阿？

请到欧阳智来给大家聊聊杜克的统计和决策科学研究所。欧阳智，湖南株洲人，2004年毕
业于北大数学系，进入杜克攻读统计学博士学位。
杜克大学的统计部门称为Institute of Statistics and Decision Sciences（ISDS
），而不是像别的学校称为统计系。研究所表明这是一个以研究为主的机构，或许是因为
以前刚刚建立的时候就只计划做研究所，而且刚开始的时候规模比较小。至于为什么有个
决策论在名字里，我一直没有弄懂，或许是历史原因，或许是因为Jim Berger在我们系。
不过这个名字比较misleading，事实上整个系很少有决策论的课程，两年前开过一次，反
正我是没有机会上到过；而别的学院（如fuqua）有开决策论的课，不过因为讲授的角度
和我们系不一样，很少有学生过去选。随着九十年代的发展，特别是近几年，整个系的规
模慢慢扩大。之前杜克本科是没有统计专业的，但今年研究生院刚刚通过统计系给本科生 |
