，人家踩好点了，你就危险了。他说不要的东西就全部丢了。
我觉得那么多人都在garage sale，应该没有那么恐怖吧？而且我觉得还多好耍的，没
有摆过地摊的人想尝试哈。不过发现garage sale还是有点麻烦，尤其有大件的东西，
要搬出去。如果没有人买，最后还是只有丢了，是有点浪费时间。

事情是这样的，找房子的时候就对landlord提出必须需要一个parking spot, 这是我租
房子的必要条件。当时agent向我保证，我看中的公寓有一个parking spot available
，所以我就交了100块钱定金。可是等到签合同的时候才发现，那个parking spot是在
garage里跟别人share. 也就是说，一个又长又窄的parking spot趴两辆车，里面的人
有外面的人的车钥匙，里面的人要用车的时候，把外面的车挪开，然后把自己的车开出
来，然后再把外面的那辆车开进去，然后再自己开车出门。当时大楼的manager 向我保
证，几十年来一向相安无事，没出过什么问题，如果有问题的话，garage不负任何责任
。因为当时比较喜欢那个apartment, 又挺着急要安顿 |

这是一个safty feature，比如说garage door底下站了人或放了东西。这个机制可能是
由机械sensor控制，或是有红外sensor。我有个同事garage door门框歪了一点点，造
成红外sensor没对准，出现类似请况。 |

西的灯亮。如果不是开着窗户能听到这个声我真不知道到底什么有问题。但就这种声音我
的确不敢从250MILE的地方开回到我信任的GARAGE那里修理什么。太危险了，路上很有可
能出情况。我的车是AUDI A6 1998 QUATTRO， AHA， 30v. 2.8L.
谁还能有什么办法，是否值得用3次AAA给拖回去，让我信任的GARAGE修理？ |

发帖数: 1283 | 11 1998年Buick Lesabre，一年前开始，在停车场低速行驶或原地静止的时候，出现方向
盘左转的时候发出咯吱咯吱的响声，类似翻身的时候床板的响声。方向盘向右打不出现
这种声音。在老中开的一家garage A就诊，换了Ball joint，毛病仍在，再查，被告知
是连接方向盘杆子和两个车轮的那根横贯全车的大轴里头的齿轮咬合不太好，不属于安
全问题，老中还让我看了那个部件，转方向盘的时候，把手搭在那根大横轴上，确实有
震动和声响从那根轴传出来。今天去一家老美的garage B换油，让他们顺便检查了一下
，被告知是Front Struts的问题，更换需要1250刀。
到底哪个说得有道理？

俺恶补了一通，整理了一下，转向发出noise可能的原因有：
1. CV boot破损，里头脏了、没油了，修起来最简单最便宜
2. CV joint磨损了，这常常是可能性1的晚期症状，换个那玩意大约要几百刀
3. front strut and/or mount坏了，这玩意出问题的话，往往在车震的时候也会发出
noise，我的车确实在车震的时候也有吱妞声音，所以也可能是这原因，或者恰好同时
带有这个并发症。
4. Front tire rod坏了。这点我不敢确定，我的老中garage和老美garage都给我换过
左前轮的这个rod，两次都是他们声称要换，于是换了，但换之前之后我都没感觉有车
况任何改善，当然也有可能是他们发现了我没有感觉到的问题，并非为了消除噪音。 |

8月4号我收到了房东的信,说Y拿车的时候把garage sensor撞坏
因为Y算是我的guest,让我赔偿
我问房东有没有证据是Y弄坏的,房东说让我把Y叫来一看她的车子就知道了
我打电话给Y, Y说没有撞过sensor, 不肯过来,不肯把车子给房东看,觉得房东在无理取
闹,让我不要理房东,并且写了一封言辞激励的信给房东,让我也不要搭理房东
但是现在房东追着我,让我赔偿garage sensor,很头疼,
各位觉得这种情况我该怎么办呢? |

一般给家里干干小活的，装个柜子，或者弄些固定的shelf就好啦。而且东西都那样挂
墙上显得很乱阿。你要是在slat wall上挂柜子，挂shelf, 就不如直接固定或者落地算
啦。

同一个公司正在建的边上的新房，Garage地面离一楼的有
两个台阶高，可我们的好像有三个台阶那么高，整整高了
10"。多了一个台阶，停车就不方便了，可利用的面积也
少了，看起来也好象不协调。Builder已经知道此事，约了
过两天一起去看。到时我怕Builder会有好多借口。
请问，能让Builder在水泥面上再铺10"厚的水泥上去吗？
或者拆了再做？再或者就这样不动它了？有什么好的建议吗？

Garage到房里的门不是正对着车正前方的，如果是正面的，
我也无所谓啊。多一个少一个台阶也没关系。现在Garage的
门是侧面靠里面、对着车门的。它离停车库的门只有4米多点，
现在一般Sadan的长度都超过这个了吧。如果是两个台阶，
车还是可以开进去的。三个台阶了，车只能斜着停了，
那不是很有问题？ |
