任何一个对美国电影有些兴趣的人应该都知道或者看过1939年的绿野仙踪（The Wizard
of OZ）。当时这部戏出来的时候跟现在AVATAR差不多，由于采用了当时史无前例的特
效和彩色胶片（technicolor format），人人争看，票房达到史上第一位。17岁的Judy
Garland更是凭借一曲somewhere over the rainbow成为当时最红的影星。
看完Avatar后，发现有向1939年的绿野仙踪致敬的几处：
1，somewhere over the rainbow里有一句词是：somewhere over the rainbow, blue
birds fly。AVATAR里有好几个彩虹状岩石。当男主角变身第一次去森林的时候，直升
飞机在湖面上飞过的时候，周围有一大群纯蓝色 |

周一（5月4日），两名枪手袭击美国得克萨斯州达拉斯（Dallas）近郊的穆罕默德先知
漫画比赛，被警方击毙。警方正在加紧调查枪手的身分，并对临近地区进行搜查。
据Skynews报导，这个漫画大赛在达拉斯郊区的加兰（Garland）市的柯蒂斯中心（
Curtis Culwell Center）举行，两名枪手驱车而来，对保安官员开枪射击，警方开枪
还击，袭击者双双毙命。
警方调来拆弹小组搜索枪手的车。加兰警察局发言人哈恩（Joe Harn）说，根据其他地

，他们有。这种树的木质并不坚硬，很好锯，我儿子五六岁的时候就可以锯。一般来讲
越香的树种越贵，如此地最最最常见的 douglas fur。去之前记得先量量家里天花板的
高度，免得到时候锯了株太高的树回家。

侨冠从中国城搬到75号公路与Legacy Rd，后，其附近也出现几家中国店和中餐馆。其中老熊川菜馆还行。
美华超市在Plano 的Coit and Park Rd，其旁边也有几家中餐馆。其中的老四川的川菜
很正宗。
香港超市在Garland的Buckingham Rd and Jupiter Rd, 其周围也有很多中餐馆。
Farmers Ranch有个越美超市，其附近也有中餐馆。

中国修车铺，开始要120，后来要130，说是看错了。
后来，在cragslist找了个老莫，只要50，还到apt的修。花了一个小时，我的车必须要
在下面才能拆。所以时间长些。但是也比中国修车铺便宜多了。
另外，问了问，说换strut之类的也是50。所以推荐给大家。但是，不知道诊断如何.
如果你要便宜的话，可以考虑。

standing in line, you still need to get there early. It is opened around
8am. Then you can make the appointment with them about the time you want to
