LD一只觉得GPS技术不够成熟，现在还不合适用。这次借着去LA玩的机会，租车的时候
同时租了Garmin GPS。结果证
明用起来非常方便。有人说打地图也成啊。我说三个地图搞不定的地方。
第一，高速经常有几条同行的时候，如果lane不对的话，就会走错路。有些比较简单的
地方看地图还好，但像LA
downtown那种复杂情况，根本不行。而GPS会提前通知你靠右还是靠左，不会出错。
第二，高速路上突然饿了，想吃点中餐，随便找个口开出去，用 GPS一搜，出来一堆，
点一个名字好听点的，走！爽
爽吃一顿，继续上路。
第三，如果走错路，没关系，GPS会重新计算，跟着走就是。
当然，GPS不是完美的，新手需要时间去熟悉。有时候如果两个左转连着，光看GPS不容
易分辨该转哪个。但这个问题
地图也有。还有，我用的这个在 driving的时候不能重新设定 |

我比较了tomtom和garmin的地图，tt的太烂了。下载了上个月的地图，我们这里4，5年
前就修的路还是老信息。最莫名其妙的是我家出门右转就可以了，他总是让我左转绕一
大圈，然后回到这个路口。local算不好就罢了，高速上让我下去再上来，那两条高速
在那里起码10年了啊。garmin的地图就准多了，等好的deal来了我就把我的tt处理掉。
什么poi，冷启动时间根本不是主要问题，给我指好路就可以了。 |

图，自己破解自己往机器里灌地图 很麻烦 |
