求学，谁知刚一下飞机就遭到诈骗，身上所有的现金被悉数骗光。警方已介入调查。
据新闻公报网（The News Gazette）报道，伊利诺伊大学（University of Illinois，
UI）已与芝加哥警方合作，全力追查欺诈中国小留学生数千美元的嫌疑人。
伊大警官汤姆•盖斯（Tom Geis）介绍，18岁的伊大学生乘飞机于8月20日晚上抵
达芝加哥奥黑尔机场（O'Hare Airport）。入关后，该学生走出登机楼，但不知如何乘

Parmenter）因为在课堂上踩国旗被学校开除。5月15日，乔丹为了向学生示范“什么叫
言论自由”，将国旗作为道具踩在脚下。随后，有学生向学校告发，称“老师对国旗不
尊重”。近日，校董事以全票通过的结果宣布将他开除。

26岁的乔丹在接受媒体采访时表示，他参加了校董事会的会议，但没有机会解释事情的
经过，只是回答6位学校董事的问题。乔丹说，他踩国旗纯粹是为了教学，那堂课是关
于言论自由的，他看到教室角落放着一面小国旗，便拿过来作为道具示范，没有任何对
国旗、国家的不尊重。遭学生举报后，乔丹随后向学校写了一封道歉信，称对当时的行
为很后悔。
6月接受美国《期刊公报》（Journal Gazette）采访时，乔丹还以为事情即将平息，“
与学校组织谈话后，我感觉他们愿意接受我的道歉，谅解我的行为。”
在给学校的道歉信中，乔丹写道，“我热爱在马丁斯维尔高中的教学工作，也非常想帮
助学生们取得成绩。我保证类似的事情不会再发生。”确实不会再发生，因为没多久，
乔丹就接到了学校的开除通知。

together with a form (PTO-158).
2. After you submit your PTO-158 and the fee, USPTO will post your name
online (USPTO gazette) for a while (about one month?).
3.Then USPTO will send you your registration number, and the date you are
qualified as a patent agent(or patent attorney if you are a lawyer). I think
you are asking about this date.
