genecards, the genecards shows all papers in Pubmed. do you have any good
idea about it? why does yours have only 2 cited? did you look for reference

发帖数: 478 | 5 我觉得现在一个重要的事情是拿到宝宝相关基因的序列，有三种情况：
1.基因上所有位点都跟正常人的一样，这样基本排除了这个基因
2.有些位点跟正常人不一样，但跟不在hgmd已知致病突变一样 －－ 症状是这个基因导
致的可能性很大
2.有些位点跟正常人不一样，但跟已知致病突变也不一样 －－ 这些突变有可能是未知
的致病突变，也可能是正常SNP

这个CCR5被敲了，是可能免疫艾滋，那CCR5本身起的作用怎么办？生物是个复杂的系统
和网络，动一发牵动全身。假设将来这个CCR5缺失在人类播散开来，可能将改变人类的
进化方向，而且很可能是坏的方向。

生物医学冷门领域。美国非牛校博士，牛校博后，SCI文章10+，3一作，另国内一作2，
无牛文，引用40+（确实很少，唯一优点是引用的杂志超多，20多个，10多个国家，英
国院士，联合国某实验室主任都分别引用我三四次，但其实主要都不是我的一作，我一
作引用才10次多点。不过有个听来的小trick，即使不是一作，也可以要通讯作者在推荐信中称你和一作equally contributed，这样起码RFE里不好对你这个进行质疑。）还有个trick，petition letter里我明确写了总引用次数，但我把我大部分文章都归成一个topic，说所有引用都是关于这一个研究的，这样不会轻易现出我有几篇文章只有一两个引用的弱点。我猜想那么多材料，IO不会每个细节都仔细看，能糊弄过去就糊弄过去；
邀请book chapter一个；
主流中文媒体报道2次，其中一个被搜狐转载（引用Alexa证明sohu全世界流量第40位）；

only two recommended by zzzz database on yyy topic. then explained zzz

In Uniprot, the reference is 30 papers(I think the maximal is 30, because it
always shows 30), so my paper is one of 30 out of 104 papers recommended by
uniprot. Right? |

and it happened that the database just cites two references but there are
thousands of proteins in this superfamily and thousands of papers around
there. so..... i am not sure about your case.

到处搜索挖掘闪光点，有一问题想问一下大家。
我发现的一个基因以及该基因功能被列在NCBI GeneRIFs (Gene References into
Functions) 中，上面有我的发现的一句话简介，然后后面列出了Pubmd的文章。这个可
以作为contribution claim吗？还是这个只是一个搜索引擎类的东西？
另外 labome，Genecards 里面也有收录这篇文章，这个可以算作一个闪光点吗？

应该怎么办？我试过GeneCards，但里面cell line的数据很少；也想过找microarray，
我自己没有做过microarray的数据分析，不知道它的结果里面有没有basal expression
