simple illustration, say you have an investment vehicle that returns 10%
each year. you tax rate is 30% which is very likely an overestimate of you
effective tax rate.
In terms of retirement accounts:
traditional 401k, you make $1, no immediate tax, after 10 years, it rolls to
$2.59 and you draw it out, govt takes 30% which is $0.77, leaving you $1.82

was fatally shot by police officers in rush hour gunfire that injured nine
bystanders outside of the Empire State Building, authorities said.

On top of my 6 figure tax bill, I donate cash to charity every year. A
couple hundred each to a few charities. My company, a private company,
matches employee donation 1 to 1 up to a fairly generous limit. When there
were major natural disasters in China, I donate in the thousands through red
cross.
I sometimes also donate used goods so they can continue to benefit those

Some people claim CEOs are greedy
but those so called "poor people" are greedier to me
they don't have the necessary skills to make big money yet they are
unwilling to take the entry-level jobs either
the super generous unemployment benefit certainly doesn't help the situation.
I don't mind using my tax money to help the poor people, but at least the
money should be used on people who are determinant to make a change
