晚独自去试了下。
差不多快8点半到的，一共6张大学食堂样的四角座位桌，5张已坐了人，我要了个招牌
炒削面堂吃+凉拌粉皮带走，就坐在唯一的空桌那里等。
应该是按先来后到一份一份做的，本以为8点半已经过了饭点，希望能侥幸等的时间短
些，没想到几乎之前的5桌都还在一份一份的往桌上添，等了大约30分钟，终于轮到我
的，其实还是漏了前面一桌的某个order稍微把我提前了点。
坐等的时候很无聊，玩儿了两把手机游戏，也打量了下这间店：
里间一个穿白的大师傅应该是侯师傅，还有个戴眼镜的老兄大概也在掌勺，一个中年大
嫂在帮里帮外，一个寸头后生帮里帮外并主收款，还有一个超高的后生，另外一个我去
的时候坐在柜台里沙发上看书不管店务。
感觉是沾亲带故的一家人在开店，对开店属于新手上路，还比较生疏：
1、做好一份往外端时，经常需要其他人指点或纠正才能端对桌子，可见对客人点的东
西和入座的位置还没有良好系统整理清楚
2、还没有养成问喝点什么的习惯，所以顾客不主动提可能就会没有水喝，我自己后来

板，厨房铺瓷砖。房间卫生间在二楼，房间和楼梯铺地毯，卫生间刚翻新半年，铺瓷砖
。有两个parking spots，其中一个是在garage里面。 Washer和dryer也是半年前全换
成新的，四家share，投币使用。小区有游泳池和playground，离UTC mall十分钟脚程
，购物交通都很方便。房租$1400包水和垃圾费，一个月租金为押金，租期到8月底，可

Genesee, then go down hill, may ask you to turn right into those residential
area. maybe U turn back to Genesee, or circle back to DMV with a back path.
My mom test drive twice there, both were the similar route.
Pay attention to RIGHT TURN ON RED, and STOP sign, also turn on intersection
without signs,

closet room）漏水，自己通知了管理处，然后自己搬到hotel了，管理处不补偿任何，
也不清理楼上的积水(可以看到water stain in the ceiling)，还打算让我们搬回去，
也不同意搬到同一栋的其他单元。前天发了封certified leter去索赔。结果昨天收到
一封信，说由于我们没有保持apt清洁等等，要终止我们的lease.现在打算要告他们：
1. compensation for the water damage.
2. wrongful termination of the lease.
请问下怎么找到公司的owner呢？从city的record看，这个apartment's owner 是
Genesee Terraces LLC，在Clairemont mesa Blvd的。寄了两份citified mails: 一个
给property manager给拒收了，另外一个给the owner of Genesee Terraces LLC好像
收下了。

manager扣押金是有名的了。
doyle西和西南的都是私人的townhouse，4-5家合用洗衣机，部分townhouse还有个小院
。如果能找到genesee highland离genesee ave很近的地方的townhouse，离41路车站也
就是走1分钟。 |

球网援引加拿大《国家邮 报》(National Post)5月28日报道，加拿大统计局28日公布
报告显示，法语的地位有所下降，而汉语、粤语、印度语，甚至印第安语的比例则在不
断上升。
报道称，其实对于加拿大西部和北部而言，法语不再流行已不是新鲜事。早在2001
年，就已经有3个省和2个地区 的法语地位只能排在第三或第四位。以不列颠哥伦比亚
省为例，使用法语的有5万人，远不及讲广东话或普通话的人数。到了2011年，仅有0.3
%的温哥华家 庭讲法语，而说中文或印度语的家庭高达14%。

美多个城市拟推倒大片空房遏制下滑危机

美国几十个城市可能需要推倒整个社区，作为“缩小规模存活”策略；奥巴马政府正
在考虑这些提议，解决经济下滑问题。
据英国《电讯报》报道，政府正在审议扩大全美最贫穷的城市之一弗林特（Flint）推
倒整个街区、将土地归于自然计划。
当地政治家相信，该市必须缩小40%，将正在下滑的人口和服务设施集中到有活力的地
区。
那种激进试验是格尼西县（Genesee County）主计长基尔迪（Dan Kildee）的构想，而
弗林特市位于格尼西县之内。他在2008年大选期间向奥巴马提出自己的策略，现在联邦
政府官员正在同他接触，一批慈善机构希望他将自己的经验实施到其它城市。

班上经常有人问中文还是英文的问题。
正好前一段时间我也在为我家小的语言问题头疼：发音不标准，不肯说话等等。所以秉
着我一贯的作风——遇到疑难问题就去图书馆翻书：果真被我找到了基本关于双语教育
的书。有一本叫作：Dual Language Development and Disorders(作者：Fred Genesee
;Johanne Paradis; Martha B. Crago)这本书从理论上阐述了双语教育的可行性和操作
性以及会遇到的问题。
作者把双语教育分作两部分：一部分就是一出生就开始接触到两种语言的；另一种就是
3岁以后开始接触到第二语言的。研究表明，一出生就接触两种语言的孩子（普通孩子
啦，那种语言天才不在里面）虽然开口会比单语环境的孩子慢，发音不标准，或者就是
