去超市和中餐馆，经常看见放在水池里的象拔蚌，那长长的肉真像大象的鼻子，很
可爱，只是那$16-18一磅的价
钱让人不敢问津，况且也不知道怎么烧。
老美管这种蚌叫‘geoduck’，那一定是跟鸭子有关，为什么呢？想必当象拔蚌缩
著鼻子的时候，那短短的粗鼻子像
鸭嘴，因此得名。
七月四号是美国的独立节，在美国的意义相当于中国的国庆日，我们都不上班，有
了一个长週末。有朋友相约去海
边挖象拔蚌，我怂恿一心只想玩电脑游戏的女儿跟我一起去，她同意了。我们一早四点
起床，五点出发，与另一家朋友
一起开车去在三藩市北边70英里的宝地佳海滩(BodegaBay)。七点半我们与另一辆车会
师在海边，时间非常好，那时正
是退潮最低点，大片湿漉漉的海滩露了出来，大家一眼望去，已经有不少人在那里 |

do.
That way ppl can anticipate and react.
e.g.
ppl that camp, get up at 5:30 to disassemble their tent (at their choice),
get ready and meet at the store by 6AM. (Or disassemble later after hunting)
ppl that do not camp, need to get to the store before 6, as it opens at 6AM
and the boats leave at 6:15. (15 min for ticket purchasing, parking,
grabbing your gear and find the boat u grouped to)

如果人不多好协调的话，
我们可以每人负责几样东西，然后各自去买，就不细算钱了，买的少的稍微贴补买的多
的，主要是省事。
或者大家chip in, 一个两个人分头去买。如果人不是很多，应该很好解决的。

我是bbq新手，我可以弄skewers,就牛肉（or 鸡肉）＋onion+pepper+tomato+zucchini
etc.
看看有多少人感兴趣，我觉得每次都会弄太多吃不了。。。

last night.
However, if you have a grill, I think we should just gather and have fun bbq
-ing together. :)
We are just going to have beef skewers, hot dogs and some fruits. I'll try
to bake some cup cakes or muffins tonight. Again, I think the most
important item is the grill.. not sure how big of a bonfire we'll have. We
don't have a grill so we have to share romero's. :) Oh.. if you have a

qcc和小蛇，要不你俩谁去walgreen买个烧碳的小bbq grill？
才15块钱，3~4个人足够了
个头不大，很便携。

Limit是每个人的，所以两个人当然可以拿双份。
理论上讲应该是有license的人才可以挖/拿。 |
