IVF is a method, which use a different location for fertilization when
traditional one did not work. After that, the oocyte still need to be put
back into the uterus. Why does the location of fertilization bother people?
You cannot tell a person whether he or she is from IVF. The person is still
biological son or daughter of his/her parents. Why is there social risk?
Where is the moral concern? |

发帖数: 891 | 17 一个皮挨着地，可以从未在人格上瞧不起环卫工人（人家挣钱多还无压力），但不能说
掏垃圾和探索宇宙奥义属于同一个层级吧。
人格上的”尊重“是一码子事，重视数学思维的重要性又是另一码子事。
最主要的问题是，很多生物索男，自己数学不行，还瞧不上数学，觉得数学不过尔尔，
不懂数学也不愿意自学一点数学，还懒得跟数学家合作，于是很多意义重大的生物学问
题不能像很多正儿八经的学科一样，用数学的方法rigorously的解决，导致生物每年消
耗天文数字的经费，结果依然还在博物学的层级上躺着。
（如果argue说”生物问题太复杂了根本不能用数学解决“，uncomputable? OK，但是
这个uncomputable的结论也需要rigorously的证明。总不能有人问P等于NP咩，你回答
”操这问题太他妈难现在的人类知识解决不了“吧，你总得证明“解决不了”吧）

差的远。
举个例子，
SVM发明者，1958年，他在撒马尔罕(现属乌兹别克斯坦)的乌兹别克国立大学完成了硕
士学业。1964年，他于莫斯科的控制科学学院获得博士学位。毕业后，他一直在该校工
作直到1990年，在此期间，他成为了该校计算机科学与研究系的系主任。

明：
ICM2014一小时大会报告共邀请了21位数学家，其中美国10位，法国3位，英国2位，
日本、韩国、瑞士、比利时、加拿大、意大利等国家各1位。
美国10位被邀请做一小时报告的数学家中，有5位是来自俄罗斯和东欧（匈牙利、捷
克）的数学家，目前都在美国一流大学（麻省理工学院、加州大学伯克利分校、普林斯
顿大学等）任职，还有3位分别来自伊朗、法国和英国。有2位在麻省理工学院、加州大
学伯克利分校任教的数学家（Alexei Borodin和Vera Serganova）都毕业于莫斯科大学
。这从一个侧面反映了苏联解体以后，俄罗斯的人才流失非常严重。另外，来自美国本
土的数学家只有2位。

killed in an automobile accident near Kewanee, Illinois, on June 16, 1977.
