I do not quite buy it.
1: Wang Song is working on algebraic number theory. Why should he be
interviewed by Yau, a differential
geometer, for a postdoc position?
2: Indeed, Yau said some very good things about Wang Song in chinese media,
though he did not mention
Wang's name explicitly.
From what I heard, I believe Yau is actually a strong supporter of Wang,
Song. |

contributions in study of 4-d Yang-Mills gauge theory (mathematical theory
of SU(2) connections), he found and characterizes certain solutions using
various methods of calculus of variations. E.g. He showed existence of anti

普通亚男还怎么混？
海归再归海也许会成为亚男新的职业路线之一？
依托天朝top学校的资源出点成果 然后杀回美帝顶级名校

序并不停。于是考虑移植到Visaul Fortran 6.6下，发现可以调试，也可以编译通过，但
是执行是却遇到stack overflow的问题，后来发现是一个子程序的数组定义有问题，但是
在Powerstation4 下却可以执行。那个子程序数组定义如下：
SUBROUTINE GHMAT7(NE,CONE,TUINV,TDLDA)
COMPLEX TUINV(NROWS,NROWS),TDLDA(NROWS)
INTEGER CONE(NE,4),VB_ID
COMMON N,NP,INP,IPR,ITX
COMMON /GEOMET/NROWS,NCOLM
结果发现程序运行到第一行和第二行是均发现溢出，为什么Powerstation中可以通过运
行呢？

generation of canonical ring of algebraic varieties(of general type?). He
also has some other results related to pluricanonical maps.
But compare to Mori, his work is trivial. |

Let M be a compact riemannian manifold and K a geodesic vector field thereon
. How to see that the ricci curvature function Ric(K, K) must be bounded
below everywhere on M by a strictly positive constant? M being compact
should be necessary but does K really have to be geodesic?
