USDA hardiness查出来是10b，完全不能frost的那种。
今年冬天就剪光叶子扔在阳台上没管。偶们这里8b，今年最低温25度左右连续一周。

把叶片撕下来闻闻有股味道，有人觉得臭我觉得还不错，有点儿清爽味道，哈哈。天竺
葵还是喜光的但是别暴晒，东部这天气没关系，加州或者tx等阳光强烈的地方就不好了

要便宜的房子也有,中兴旅馆$12/晚,自己一个小房间,只能放下一张床。
给的旅馆都有电话,要知道价钱,自己可以打电话。
$60找个单间足够了.双人房大约$25.去学校坐地铁花不了多少时间。
记得中興旅館$12/天,自己有一个小单间,有张床,能睡觉,能放行李。

【侨报纽约网报道】本周六(25日)纽约公园局将举办一个免费的森林公园温室
(Forest Park Greenhouse)参观游览活动。估计这是一个难得的机会让大家去领略一个
具有百年历史的大型花房。据称，该花房专门负责为皇后区和布碌仑区的大多数公园培
育植物。
据DNA信息网报道，数十年来，纽约市首次对公众开放其森林公园温室，该温室位
于森林公园路(Forest Park Drive)和木港大道( Woodhaven Blvd)交界地带。
据悉，该活动所展出的品种繁多的植物主要由纽约市内的五个温室提供，据悉，这
些温室每年培育出的植物达10万余株，包括天竺葵(geraniums)、秋海棠(begonias)、
紫松果菊(purple coneflower)和黑眼苏珊(black-eyed Susans)。
据公园管理局的皇后区园艺主管阿德里安娜·杰克韦兹(Adriana Jacykewycz)称，
上述植物最终将运送并种植在皇后区和布碌仑区大大小小的公园中。

我也是盆栽花木杀手,每年生日会得一盆Geranium(海棠?),从来养不活过三个月!
去年圣诞破天荒养活了一盆Amaryllis,两朵花骄艳了许久. |

把瓷花盆倒扣在地里给鼻涕虫乘凉，定期翻盆杀之；
啤酒法，牌子很重要，效率最高的是Michelob, Budweiser, Kinsbury;
sluggo, 有效成分是磷酸铁，对人畜宠物都无害，属于环保药物。
种抗鼻涕虫的植物：Begonias, California poppy, fuchsias, geraniums, impatiens
, lantana, nasturtiums, purple robe cup flowers, ornamental grasses , and
the highly-scented lavender, rosemary, and sage。 |

终于开了第一朵。颜色红的出乎意料，可能是刚开吧。
不过，形状很不错，花苞也很多，值得推荐。
香气没有那么强，不知道是不是因为下雨的缘故。
门前的一条石板小路。路的左边就是当时繁花似锦的Iris。
照片里面有hosta，begonia，Cora bell，sedum，Geranium，mums，
bleeding heart，phlox，morning glory，dianthus(red)，Sweet williams，
rose (Zephirine Drouhin)，大杜鹃，小杜鹃，etc。
顺便来两张其他的。

较好。
也想弄些放室内的，是不是就不能选SUAN，要选SHADE的？

搭配的很不错啊。
红色的geranium和橘红的marigold很抢眼。
在盆子里种东西，要塞很多不同色彩的东西进去。
但也要讲究层次，一般是中间高四周低，才会丰富好看。
或者一边高，然后往前依次降低（这种适合做墙边，或者墙角的花盆） |
