荐才可以入。 说实话我这里没见过周围朋友老中的孩子有没进gifted program的， 儿
子去年整个年级的老中孩子都gifted了， 所以你别担心gifted孩子难养了， 这个是进
不去你才需要担心的， 呵呵
关于你8，9分10分学校对gifted标准， 我们这里是越差的学区才会对gifted越重视的
， 你也知道我们这里的头牌学区早就取消gifted考试了， 估计是gifted太多标签不过
来， 亦或者不全标上gifted那个区太多有权优势高智商的家长要抓狂。 我们学区虽然
还有但是也不是很重视， 据说就每周五把gifted都召集起来做点额外的兴趣实验而已
， 这个gifted标签一直到初中毕业为止， 高中开始就是AP课了 |

俺女儿在kindergarten的时候，被老师推荐参加了学区的考试，被招进了学区的gifted
program，大概IQ 120以上的可以被录取。这个program是在一个单独的小学上课，kin
dergarten每周上半天，小学的每周上一天。
后来俺女儿又接着参加了似乎1，2个测试，被录取进了一个full time的gifted progra
m，大概IQ 140以上的可以被录取，人数不限。这个program是我们这儿的2个county大概
10多个学区一起办的，目前大概办了10年左右了。小学的集中在一个小学上课，正好是
我女儿的home school，有校车接送。他们的art，music和gym课同正常年级的孩子一起
上，数学是一个老师，语文和science等等由另外一个类似班主任的老师教授。由于用I
Q作为录取标准，所以这个full time的program的学生并不是很多。目前的1年级的6个学
生（4男2女）和2年级的3个学生（都是男生）在一个班一起上课。

University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee 访问学者Fan Xia，
参与gift card scam被捕，而且被定罪convicted。
他们是这么操作的：
1，印度的人给美国受害者打电话，骗说欠IRS的钱，让受害者去买target gift card。
2，受害者把买来的Target gift card告诉印度骗子。
3，印度骗子把Target gift card 告诉Fan Xia。
4，Fan Xia 去Target用骗来的Target gift card买iTunes gift card。
5，Fan Xia 再把iTunes gift card告诉中国的销售商。
6，中国的销售商把iTunes gift card卖给消费者。
我只能说，这是个败类。
不只参与骗局害美国一般老百姓，还让合法撸卡的人更难了。 |
