FOSTER CITY, Calif. (AP) -- Gilead Sciences Inc. (GILD) on Tuesday reported
third-quarter profit of $2.73 billion.
On a per-share basis, the Foster City, California-based company said it had
profit of $1.67. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1
.84 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of
analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.80 per
share.

Gilead讲两种试验的新药，elvitegravir, GS 9350和另一种混合药Truvada,在测试中达

这种测试共有48周。GILEAD说“四混合”在24周后就达到了预期目标。这些实验是在71位

Elvitegravir是一种综合的生化酶抑制剂。它抑制了HIV自我复制和感染正常细胞的反应
酶。 GS9350则刺激人体血细胞的生化酶生成。这种人体生化酶会如Elvitegravir一样抑
制HIV病毒。
Truvada由两种药emtricitabine and tenofovir。而Atripla除了上面两种药外，还含有
efavirenz。这三种成分都已经被FDA批准。

：基本上是没戏了。双盲只是说直接治疗病人的医生不知道哪个病人在用药。但那个总
