大部分人都會在午夜左右開始摸黑登頂，登頂一段山路跟之前的完全不能相提並論。山路
又斜又鬆軟，五千米以上的山路更有積雪，走來十分吃力。接近 Gilman's Point 處 (約
5,400 多米開始) 要走上一些大石，會十分費氣力，有些人甚至因太累而嘔吐。
如果能成功登上 5,685 米的 Gilman's Point，時間不是太遲、體力還可支持而又沒有高
山反應 (如頭痛或呼吸困難)，可繼續沿火山口邊緣走上 Uhuru Peak。山路較之前的平坦
許多，但這時已變成雪地，頗為濕滑，旁邊是三百米深的大火山口，走時要加倍小心。
（海拔約 5,000 米、登上 Gilman's Point 的山路 ）
過了 Gilman's Point 之後風勢十分強勁，氣溫亦十分低 (日出前不計 wild chill 約零

The trail actually is pretty much along the Lake Washington on the
north side before it hits Sammamish River Trail. Sammamish River Trail is
connected to Burker Gilman(it used to be considered part of Burke Gilman). I
guess it is one of the best city rails in the country. Lots of really nice
view alongside.
It is 27 mile trail, not hard at all for a bike round trip, somewhat

城市很少见到有这么多风景这么好，质量又高的trail.
夏天出来在trail 上跑跑步，biking, roller blading/roller-skating ，还有那
么美丽的风景欣赏， 比宅在家了泡网好多了。
Seattle 市内最有名的trail 应该是Burke Gilman trail, 从Gas work park（据
说要修到Golden garden park), 一直通道东边Redmond Marymoor Park, 单程27个mile
. 很多地段能看到Lake Washington 的view，风景相当不错。 Burke Gilman trail
的质量残次不齐， 有的地方很好， 但有的地方很不平， 滑旱冰，骑车的都要小心，
带好保护。 要想完成trail全程，biking是不错的方式， roller blading/skating 也
可以，跑步对大多数人有难度。

Burke Gilman trail 和Sammamish River Trail 是连在一起的， 我完整的完成
过。
不过风景过了Bothell 就没前面那么好了，没有多少view. 而且trail 的质量也
不好，一点都不smooth.
Interurban Trail我用几次， 好多地方坡度很大， 总体远不如Burke Gilman.
还没去过Cedar River 和Green river , 争取下个夏天玩一下。

在您即将就任中华人民共和国国家主席之际，我们来信表示祝贺，并期待中国出现
焕然一新的领导风格和执政理念。为此，我们恭请您释放当今世上唯一被囚禁的诺贝尔
和平奖得主刘晓波博士和夫人刘霞女士。
2009年12月，贵国政府 以“煽动颠覆国家政权”的罪名判处刘晓波11年有期徒刑
，对他的指控基于他所写的一些政论文章和发起的《零八宪章》。刘博士是备受尊敬的
知识分子和民主倡导者，《零八宪章》呼吁中国在人权，自由和民主的原则基础上进行
和平的政治改革。 在挪威诺贝尔奖委员会授予刘博士和平奖后不久，贵国政府在未经
任何法律程序的情况下开始将刘霞软禁在家；两年后，她仍然被切断和外界的一切联系
。联合国任意拘留问题工作组于就刘晓波和刘霞的持续囚禁状况发表第 15-16/2011号
意见，认定对他们的关押违反了国际法。然而，该调查意见并没能改变他们的处境。

华人人口240万（有身份的），获奖人数7人，平均每百万2.916人。
犹太人630万人口，获奖人数47人，平均每百万7.46。
红脖子，获奖人数193，人口2亿，平均每百万0.965人。
老黑人口3870万，老墨人口5050万，他们的物理化学医学得主呢？怎么一个都没找到？
他们的人口可是华人和犹太人的好几倍啊。
另外，华人是1943年废除排华法案以后才来到美国的，比犹太人晚了半个多世纪，因为
肤色跟白人差距较大，奋斗业更难。
