I have to say, one can not know how tough a game is until he seriously tried. A 10-yr old girl in our club can simply beat an average adult on the court no matter he's a football player, boxer, marathoner or whatever, if one dares to try.
Badminton is NOT the back-yard girly game as some stupid,self-centered,
arrogant,and ignorant American thought. LOL.

bad putts together with 12/18 GIR, he is almost done for the week.

I am surprised Phil bounced back with a tournament-lowest 66 after

发帖数: 210 | 41 今个球季下来，各种形式的比洞赛打了十几场，回想一下好像成绩非常不错，获胜率百
分之八十左右。其中很多场赢的都是比我强的球手，上个星期刚刚赢了一个handicap
index 5的哥们，虽然他让我三杆，但实际比塞中这三杆并没有用上。
觉得比洞赛一个对我很有利的因素，就是long driving distance。因为有让杆，又是
难度最高的几个洞，经常是球场上最长的几个四杆洞。一旦我的开球找到球道，一般会
比我的对手远，这样他们的心理压力很大，发挥也经常受影响。平时我是那种稳定性比
较差的球手，一般一场球下来有一两个birdie，很多par，但也有一堆double bogey和
triple bogey。而在比洞赛中，打坏了一次只输一个洞，对总的比赛影响不大。
当然打球最刻骨铭心的总是输球。两次输球，一次输给一个chipping master，该拿下
的洞总是拿不下，这哥们在我是GIR的情况下，几次从四五十码外将球chip到离洞几英
尺之内，而且从不失手，简直就是一个切球大师。赛后告诉我年轻时是个2
handicapper，虽然现在只是个8 index。另一次输给一个推杆超水平发挥的主， |

常好，明年一定继续作他的门生。
最近这五六场球，最差的84杆，最好的77杆，丢杆的最主要的地方还是开球的准确性不
够。以77杆的这场球为例，6756 yards par 70, rated 72.9/136, played from the
back tip, fairway hit是 6 out of 14, 9 GIR, 已经属于自己不错的发挥。putting
发挥不算好，34推，失去了六七次六尺到二十尺距离的抓鸟机会。多亏铁杆,bunker和
chipping超水平发挥，才得以击破80杆。而八十杆以上的球，经常是因为fairway hit
太少，short game发挥不好所致。总的来说，这个球季属于循环上升的状态，swing做
了比较大的改动，short game也有长足长进。虽然driver还不够准确，但是已找到症结
所在和改正方法，相信练习后会有所改善。
今年的各类比赛打得比去年少，但取胜率比去年高。觉得比赛心理承受上比以前好，不

par 70, 6443 yards rating/slope = 70/119.
My driver is pretty consistent today, hit 13/14 fairways. only missed one by
one yard. ball went about 240-260 yards.
My approch shots are ... not that good. I tend to hit my irons fat. only 5/
18 GIR. Well, missed some by 2-4 yards.
My short game? ...SUCKS today. 3-putt several times. chip and pitch over the
green ..., and there is one 198 yards par 3, I hit a very good hybrid shot

Now I can hit ball staight, but dont know how far it goes to. sometimes far,
sometimes short. GIR is almost 00/18, Chipping is so aweful,when lucky got
par, bad luck, got double or triple.
So how to break 90?? Thanks!! |

发帖数: 290 | 48 not typo. I said almost because only when i was very lucky, i can hit green
GIR, especially short hole. most of time my ball goes to about 20 yards
around green, and i chipped, if i lucky, ball goes near to pin. and i putt
it. it was par. most of time i need 2 -3 putt , jusst so hard to get a par,
not hard to get bodge, double 3-4 times one or two trible, sometime one
quarterble, everytime high 90s.
what do you guys think? how to improve? |

发帖数: 10701 | 49 i didn't quite geti it. u can tee off using 2iron, but not driver/woods.
how come? 2 iron is always a difficult club to hit. that's why so many
instructors recommends hybrid/5 woods to take the advantage of forgivness.
also how far can u hit ur 2 iron? say 230? even for a 380 yards par 4, u
still gonna use a 7 iron for approaching shot. it doesn't sound wise excet
the fairway is narrow .
btw, are u the former soundview?
