12年布龙柏格政府，人们期待一种变换，或好或坏。就象期待春夏秋冬的四季轮换，期
待风雨阳光的天气变化，期待新的面孔姿态，期待新的管理班子和风格，最重要的是期
待新的执政策略。改变也是一种生活、文化、终将是收获。
选举日是每年11月第一个周一的随后一天(星期二)，1845年由国会设立。当时的美国还
多半是农业社会，日期的决定主要考虑到农民的投票方便。忙完秋收，一家大小收拾停
当，赶马车进城要大半天时间，星期天不少人得去教堂，所以周二是个好选择。

上次看电视一个记录片，连Giuliani自己都说什么时候纽约才会选共和党市长？只有
things are really bad的时候，纽约人好了伤疤忘了疼, 经过bloomberg后，忍不住又
选了一个共产liberal，现在是自食其果。 |

有意向做第三任的，但当时的候选人之一Bloomberg就很firm出来说还是要换班了。结
果他自己倒做了三任的市长，呵呵。 |
