2012年11月14日晚，法轮功总部龙泉寺（注册名为“龙泉寺佛学公司”）所在的美国纽
约州奥兰治县鹿苑镇规划会召开会议，讨论龙泉寺递交的其作为宗教场所的特殊用途许
可延期申请。镇规划会经过激烈讨论，认为龙泉寺的申请与其实际用途不符，且用作学
校的设施从未标注在其规划图上，同时龙泉寺居住人数增多也将给当地带来直接的环境
压力，遂一致决定不批准龙泉寺相关申请，并要求龙泉寺对在其地产上开办飞天学校（
包括飞天艺术学校和飞天学院）一事做出说明。这意味着法轮功开设的飞天学校很可能
被强制关闭。
在会议上，镇工程师Al Fusco认为：经实地检查，龙泉寺的设施虽然在实体建筑上
符合相关要求，但其用途不符合修正后的规划，其中包括在龙泉寺地产上建有飞天艺术
学校和飞天学院。镇律师Glen Plotsky则建议规划会不要批准龙泉寺特殊用途延期申请

目前网上查的有 woburn 有 tudor glen village (shaker glen village 好像是一家
？） westgate, 35 Montvale Avenue（ 靠近中心 停车场的一个apartment)
stonham 的franklin st 靠近main street 上边的 （还有谁知道hillside garden 啥
时候有空房啊。。。）
再就是melrose 的 melrose terrance 和靠近main street 上的一些了或者靠近malden
的pleasant st 那个
大家有啥建议不？ 哪里有房虫，环境不好的啥的呀？

地点的话上班大概30，40分钟都可以接受。
基本是70s之后的房子。
主要是有些房子状况很糟，看起来很粗糙，至少不是我喜欢的，装修要大把花钱才能到
自己喜欢的样子啊
所有算下来就找不到合适的了。。。
话说刚才发现了个glendale heights的房子，其实是在glendale和glen ellyn的边界，
就差一条街，属于glen ellyn学区。晚上看一下去。agent说glendale heights不好，
resell的价格不高blabla |

都比较新， 但是得当心有块儿是属于glen ellyn市的chuchhill和lincoln小学的， 不
要选， 要选就选属于forest glen 和 benjamin franklin小学的才好。

现在是讨论初中，小学的分数必要性问题/
北面的不熟悉。西边，HISNDALE基本都是10/10/10。
203学区，中国人看中的几个小学片大部分是10/10/10。MADISON和肯尼迪初中都是10分
。下面对应的MEADOW GLENS，HIGHLANDS，MAPLEBROOK等小学都是10分。
RANCHVIEW中国小孩很多，但是只有9分，我邻居里就有中国家长找理由把孩子送到
MEADOW GLENS小学去的，就为了这1分的差距。重新划片后，HOBSON路很多有钱人的孩
子要划到RANCHVIEW小学来，这对提高小学分数应该会有帮助。希望一两年后RANCHVIEW
也能上10分。
XZXZ提到的BEEBE，因为黑人孩子增多了，现在退步很快，只有8分。这里的房子肯定是
不能碰了。还有MILL STREET小学。这次重新划片，MILL STREET小学划片改变很多，希
望能有进步。但是这两个小学附近APT很多，这是一个难题。 |

但是因为那一带APT比较多，像BMX说的，很多SECTION 8搬过来，所以学校越来越差，
去年已经触了底线了。
今天的CHICAGO TRIBUNE说，学区现在允许那的学生转学到HIGHLANDS和MEADOW GLENS,
估计是家长实在受不了的结果。
不过脑残的政策是，穷人（住APT）家的差学生可以优先转。
HIGHLANDS，MEADOW GLENS的家长们要小心了。
一颗老鼠屎就会坏一碗粥。
现在看来我们RANCHVIEW山高皇帝远，远离北边，是先天地理优势啊。 |

. HURON没有注意到NO TURN ON RED的标志右转弯了被守在2，30米远的警察拦下来开了
一张罚单，原因写的是“PROHIBITED TURN ON RED"。罚单上没有写罚多少，要求我在
10天内出庭，出庭地址是101 E. HURON, ANN ARBOR.第一次从那里转弯，再加上疲劳，
我只想早点回家睡觉，根本没有注意到那个SIGN。

You can get into any national park for free all week long, from April 21 to 29.
Among the choices around the valley include the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Death Valley and Lake Mead.
Be advised that Red Rock Canyon is not one of the parks with free admission because it is managed by the Bureau of Land Management.

组织活动不是第一次了. 但是远途这么多人却是第一次. 走之前有种种的担忧. 怕人多
不好协调. 但是却很庆幸同去的每个人都很支持组织工作. 很感谢他们的理解. 回家快

不知道Highland Park和New Brunswick社区，学区怎么样.版上有没有人在那里住,给提
个建议?俺家娃秋天要上小学了,很关心在意学区.

发帖数: 295 | 45 现在已经有6个人参加，3男3女，基本上集中住在princeton和harrison两个地方。
希望能再找2到3个人，可carpool。
已经租好了一个7beds的vacation rental，位于watkins glen, 3个晚上共计$1350.
计划是Aug 11th(周四)下班后开车出发，住3个晚上，周日返回。
活动安排以休闲为主:
观赏watkins glen, ithaca, senaca falls附近的自然景观，瀑布，湖泊，各
色山水。沿着溪流瀑布走trail。另外就是品尝当地的美酒和特色餐馆。

风景照请看5楼。
我们投宿于小镇watkins glen一个可容纳10个人的private home。
主人家有两个house, 一旦有客人，他们就住到后面的log house。
2.5 baths，一个king, 一个queen,一个sofa bed， 四个twin bed。
屋内陈设很温馨也富有游牧特色，有网络和液晶电视（无数dvd但没有cable）。
因为这家人养马，羊，angus，鸡，狗和猫，所以出门能在他们家的农场看到很多动物。
有兴趣想求租的可以站内投信给我，我把地址和联系方式给你。
活动的项目基本就是以看瀑布为目的的稍许hiking，喝酒，在瀑布下趟水／游泳，另外还可以
去cornell校园看看（mcgraw tower附近的地势很高，可以俯瞰群山遥望湖泊，傍晚去
的话还可以看日落）。各个地方都是少于一个小时的车程。两天三夜，白天行程满满，
晚上在酒庄喝酒吃饭，回了家喝酒吃西瓜打牌很是悠闲。
4个必去的地方：

比较一下就知道啦。白人加亚裔都是在92%以上。比Glen Rock好。比allendale,
ramsey低1%。没有本质区别。
downtown是与westfield，montclair相比的，很多人喜欢，周围的几个没法比。当然有
个别affordable housing,被迫加的，每个town都有点。村民正在反对扩建，很可能成
功。
相比millburn，好在有glen rock, hawthorne，paramus缓冲，黑墨过来的少很多，所
以安全多了。
房子密度比南边小，比北边大，这个看个人喜好了。我LD觉得正合适，所以没去ramsey
和allendale，也不考虑millburn.
缺点好像是去藤校的少，比不了millburn
