题。很多人搬到郊区就是为了找个好的社区环境raise family,住个大点的房子，让孩
子上个好一些的学校。好的学区也基本是这些大house的地产税support起来的。
如果在redfin.com上search最近几年>3500尺 & >$500K(地产税基本一万四五以上）成
交的房子。你会发现好的社区和好的学区基本是高度一致。
北郊的new trier 覆盖了kenilworth, wilmette, glencoe; Stevenson 涵盖了buffalo
grove, long grove,lincholnshire;北郊其它nice社区和学区重合的还有highland
park, lake forest, deerfield, northbrook...
西郊主要就四个区域：hinsdale central covers hinsdale, oak brook; hinsdale

Winnetka，Kenilworth, Glencoe和Northfield以及Wilmette的一部分都是去那里。这
些都是Illinois家庭收入最高的town，湖边豪宅都是4-5M起价的。一般家庭的孩子进去
了会觉得很郁闷。 |

沿湖往北一长条区基本都属于又贵又老的 包括Glenview/Glencoe/Northbrook/
Deerfield/Wilmette/Winnetka/Lake Forest这一堆 经济实惠的大多在西北郊和西郊
我觉得上面那三个区都很适合你 自己搜搜看吧

所有的总结，都基于网络的信息，可能不是最准确，还请见谅。
优点：
1.距离loop近
2.房屋新
3.小区规划好
4.价格可以接受，同等质量对比
5.犯罪率低；查询了crime rate，整个区很少有犯罪活动，出现在数据库里面的事件，
处在morton grove的边缘
缺点：
1.校区小学初中可以是OK；但是高中不好；8分，学区209
高中的种族比率是，
白人43%，黑人9%，墨西哥人18%；亚洲人30%
2. 种族在变黑和蓝
从2000年到2012年，白人从67%下降到43%；同期黑人上涨到8%，墨西哥人上涨到15%；
亚洲人保持在30%左右稳定
因此，如果是10年或者15年后，有可能变成墨西哥人的区域
3.在前去考察的时候，能看到的白人不多；基本都是墨西哥人或者是中东人和阿三；特
别是我准备购买的小区，开过去5辆车，看到一个白人；其余都是阿三，和墨西哥人
4. 地税6300左右，按道理这个tax应该学校不差；可是不知道为什么高中那么糟糕。
还有其他的可能没想到，等想到我再补充。

数。初略数了一下，水牛村还是最牛啊。老中要多多向winnetka，glencoe等地区挺进
，这么好的区明显代表数量不足。还有老中确实舍得花钱去私立的少。uc lab那几个八
成也是芝大子弟，学费便宜，将来上任何大学芝大还给负80%学费。 |

要想上班近，就libertyville和lake forest,要是budget不多，可以离得再远点，就
vernon hills，喜欢和中国人扎堆，就buffalo grove,有钱要打入白人
犹太人的圈子，就deerfield, glenco, highland park.
这回清楚了吧

town或者village，芝加哥地区肯定有很多更snobby的。比如只有一万来人的winnetka
和glencoe。 |

发帖数: 183 | 29 我们一家三口住在Evanston有一段时间了，非常喜欢这里。
Evanston跟其它郊区比是很特别的，它是城市和郊区的结合。在这里公共交通非常方便
，downtown很大很都市很热闹，非常Walkable。这里居住的人有富人、学生、白领，也
有相当部分的亚裔人群。大家说乱的地方指的是Evanston高中附近的区域，那里的确有
些问题，但是并不影响Evanston其它部分地区，这里大部分地区是安全的。这里有一半
以上的小学学区都不错，高中学区学生成绩相差悬殊，亚裔的学生成绩还是非常不错的
。两居公寓20－40万，好去独栋房子50万以上。
Wilmette在另外一个很好的高中学区，东部价格昂贵80万以上，西边还可以，有40万左
右的房子。
Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove是比较普通的郊区，购物比较方便，但是城市文化比较
“朴素”一点，房子也没有风格和特点。完全不Walkable。学区还可以。
Wilmette再往北湖边的区域winnetka,glencoe是纯粹的富人区，基本在百万以上，偶有
30万的公寓和40万的townhouse。
