1、A#长什么样？
DHS颁发给外国人的8至9位的号码：

A12-345-678 = A012-345-678
A200-345-678
A#对应你的A-file。
2、一个人有几个A#？
通常一个人可能有1到2个A#。
a、很多人有OPT EAD的A#。大部分OPT A#是“临时号码”，基本上是1开头的九位
数字。
b、申请140或485后，USCIS会颁发“永久号码”。140和485的A#都是永久号码。大
部分情况，一个申请人只有一个永久号码（像SSN一样）。个别情况下USCIS失误，会给
140和485分配不同的号码。或给不同的140（EB2、NIW、EB3）颁发不同的A#。
3、H1B等非移民签证应该用什么A#？
有些律师用OPT的临时A#。

新的PUSD学区委员上台之后，总体来说还是比较积极主动与家长进行交流的。在1月5日
举行了一次学区特殊会议，征求公众意见，在会议上SDAAFE继续在学区会议上发言，要
求学区成立一个专门的调查委员会，专门调查iPAD教学的好处与坏处，并提供家长选择
权：可以不让孩子参与iPAD教学。这也将是SDAAFE在该项目的主要目标。
PUSD学区委员普遍接纳了这个建议，并在1月20日的学区会议上，把成立这样的一个调
查委员会作为一个专门的议题来讨论，但是遭到了现任superintendent Dr. Collins的
强烈反对，理由是学区委员没有成立这样的委员会的权利。
因此，学区在1月26日再次召开特殊的学区会议，从policy开始讨论起，即先讨论应该
怎样成立这样的委员会。等把这一步流程理顺之后，再决定成立什么样的委员会。
由于Dr. Collins的杯葛，并且他在2014年初的时候与当时的学区委员一起签署了三年
连任的合同，预计在2016年之前，这个问题仍将是一场艰苦的拉锯战。
