GM card: 5% on everything, however, the rewards can only be applied to
certain (not all) GM brands/models NEW cars and trucks purchased in the US,

claims.

claims. GM says 129 death claims have been classified as ineligible, 113
claims are listed as deficient, 33 were submitted without documentation and

他的股份的平仓价为53$/share.
有政府这条线托底，只要经济不要继续恶化，能维持现状，GM的
股价在几年之内就该能到53$.
如果实在到不了，GM低价回购政府的股票，那GM的股东就更赚了。
总之，GM股票，我看行。
至于真的行不行，我就不知道了，你自己决定吧。 |

通用汽车因点火开关宣布三项召回行动
路透纽约1月1日 - 新年伊始，通用汽车(GM.N)便发布三项新的汽车召回，在2014年召
回数以百万辆计的汽车后，该公司持续受到点火开关问题的打击。
最新的召回涉及83,572辆的运动休旅车(SUV)及皮卡(pickup)，这些问题上未造成车祸
或人员伤亡。通用汽车预期受到这些产品瑕疵影响的数量少于500件，问题是出在点火
开关启动器外围尺寸超过表订规格。
不过这个问题仍可能让消费者及投资人感到不安。通用汽车2014年因点火系统问题召回
的数量创记录新高，而该公司在2009年宣告破产后一直苦于重建声誉。
这些召回事件打击通用汽车股价，该公司2014年股价大跌14.6%，竞争对手福特汽车则

GM的前驱故事要比你讲的复杂的多，实际上GM辉煌的后驱B平台一直生产到1996年
GM在1980年代初石破天惊的Vision出两件事
一是柴油机大大的好，四缸柴油turbo装oilsmobil，结果当时的工业水平导致这个idea
的彻底失
败，而且由于污染严重，在老美心中自此形成了轿车装柴油机等于神经病的这么一个认识
二是前驱大大的好，工业进化的方向所在，Caddy全部换前驱。结果de ville一出来，
福特的人笑
开了颜。Town car竟然没竞争对手了，于是卖到现在。而前驱在80年代技术上不成熟，
大马力悬挂
问题很大。这在后来才解决。
你说GM的vision对不对？放在另外的timeframe，这明显是很明智的决策嘛，处处都在
对手之前。
但实际的结果就是和GM设想的结局相反。我们解读历史，结果不好当然随便批驳啦，但
在正确的商业

GM， General Manager，当然要牛叉得多，没看见有General一词吗？ 就是一般的意思
：） GM相当于诸侯，封疆大吏，牛叉之处在于，他又定价权，管市场。 想卖5毛卖5
毛，想卖1块卖一块，而且有人事等等权利。因为有定价权，就有销售分成，这个可海
了去了。
President，也很牛叉，相当于钦差大臣，控制一下要害部门，下面的部门经理叫Vice
president， 如管财务，采购，生产，研发等等。president的收入靠工资，但有奖金
，再努力一把，就能当GM了 ：）
其实混到Vice President，已经是人中豪杰了。 他们很好认。 一般是头发最少的那个

and remaining 8 billions as a loan with interest 7%. When GM returns 8
billions, the loan part is paid off in full with interest. Does tax payer
get back all the money? Not yet. It is not clear how much 61% stake of US
taxpayer in the new GM worths. It may worth less than 42 billions.
But it can not spin that news into a bad news for taxpayer like right wing

future". UAW gave further concession to GM in bankruptcy. Those cost saving
benefit is denied for ford. GM's debts is $100 billions less than ford. The
overall cost of GM is 8 billions less per year that can be spent on research
or pushing other car makers like ford or toyota to bankruptcy. |

other car makers. Government gave GM a fresh start with much lower cost
structure by sacrificing original investors. In a commodity business like
car making, lower cost producer always wins in the end. Ford does well now
riding the GM government aide stigma. But the goodwill will always disappear
in time in a commodity business. GM is far from government run enterprise. |

就把Ford家的Taurus/Sable算作之一把，当然，天下不只是Taurus可买，就像欧当初反对
钻Accord/Camry的牛角尖一样，欧同样反对钻Taurus
的牛角尖，特此推出GM系列的推荐车型，以丰富大家的选择。
说起GM，可能会有人说当然是Malibu，确实，Malibu是GM针对Taurus的family car，配置
低于Taurus，当然价格也低一截，不过，显然的结果
是没有竞争过Taurus，销量远远低于Taurus。相比同样定位于family
car的Taurus，Malibu低配为I4，高配的V6相当于Taurus低配的V6，没有
高配车可选，是欧不推荐Malibu的主要原因，看看大家是怎么骂Taurus的，就可以想象市
场定位稍低的Malibu表现如何了。
说到这儿加一句，推荐Taurus高配，only高配，发动机/变速器都是有别于低配的另一套
版本。
