according to my experience
newer versions of gnome performs as smooth as older versions (maybe better)
as long as you have no
interests in those "composite" effects. no idea about kde4
if you encountered fd0 error i guess the reason is that floppy support is
enabled but your machines has got no
floppy drive. the error might pop up when xbuntu tries to access a not-even-
exist floppy drive. |
