I have received overwelming responses requesting to join the Goljian slides
group. Subsequently, the skype was crushed during the first class.
I so much would like to include everyone who is eager to go over the Goljian
slides because I know and you know how important these slides are. However,
I can not accept any more members, which make me feel very sorry about it.

their contacts with me.
Please make sure that you have consideratable understanding in FA especially
systemic subjects. If you have gone over RRP or listened to Goljian audio,
it will be a plus.
We will have the group meeting on Sunday night.I will post the time on Skype
. We will discuss the group rules,daily tasks, and responsiblities of

发帖数: 678 | 5 我开始复习的时候和楼主毕业年限差不多。而且单词基本都忘光了。基础知识都不记得
了。
我又想尽早MATCH， 因为是老毕业生了。所以没有采取先看各科书的方式，因为其实也
记不住，还要花费非常长的时间。
我还要上班，不能全职复习。
我是以FA 和Goljian病理为主，Kaplan仅做为参考书。三个月过完FA和Goljian后上
USMLE题库，USMLE题库做完一遍三个月后，上NBME5个月后考试，当然USMLE和NBME期间
FA和Goljian反复看。STEP1总共11个月。如果要看以下的书的话，你至少要花个11+6
月以上。小组学习对我非常重要！
病理：BRS Pathology (Board Review Series) －－－“翻翻就好了， 我只看过
Goljian病理，写的非常好”
习题：Robbins and Cotran Review of Pathology－－－千万不要做，尽早上USMLE题

为越是得不到越想要。
而今，看清自己的真爱，撩起面纱，你的模样，我记住了。
曾经拥有过，也是幸福的。
人生开悟篇：
20岁的时候很懵懂，以为来到美国就能够找寻自己。当初在国内，就是受不了一眼能看
到自己老死的生活，觉得十分可怕，所以不管用什么方法，哪怕是“嫁人”也要来到美
国（说笑了)。 想体会“人生拥有无限的可能性”。正如乐嘉所说，大红色性格的人以
体验为主，觉得经历才是人生最值得回味的事情。事实证明，试了很多工作，还是无法
找到自己，原因是1. 挣得钱和“能力”不能对等；即便是挣很多钱/month（最多可以$
$$/day)依旧没有幸福感和自我存在感 。什么是自己的小宇宙？？一直很好奇。每天梦
想自己小宇宙的爆发。看了半天，找寻了半天，结果相中了board。原因有3：1. 非常
清晰但是又非常有challenge的career path；升级过程中不至于boring 2. 有里子有面
子；3.从小就要做医生，不违背自己的本心。但是事实是：

发帖数: 464 | 7 早在1月中旬考试前medwater版主就建议我写个新鲜考经了，惭愧的是考完后我实在对
自己的分数没信心，所以迟迟没动笔。现在成绩出来了终于放下心来。成绩虽然不能和
DaoBan等麦地牛人相比，但是已经大大高于自己的期望(>230分)，而且USMLE很给面子
，多给了一分，才没有当上“二百五”，我已经非常满意了。由于实在没有写作天赋，
我就套个麦地板的考经模板写个八股文，分享我的一点经验教训，作为我对麦地版的回
馈和感谢。文中有很多很罗嗦的话，麻烦看官自己挑着看吧。
个人背景：
毕业12年。以前一直混实验室。没有临床经验。现在当了一年多的家庭主妇。基督徒。
备考经历：
复习时间10个多月，除了最后一个多月冲刺，学习时间大致为非周末的白天。前3个月
和小组一起过了一遍FA，用kaplan video，Goljian做为辅助。然后开始UW, 那真是相
见恨晚，从此一切以UW为主为准。第一遍做的时候只有40%的正确率。同时和小组过第
二遍FA, 期间还参加了snowflying组织的NBME讨论。可第二遍UW做完还是只有60%正确

UW 也做了2遍, overall 55%
goljian 也听了一遍
一個月前做UW SIM 430,所以把 exam postpone了
但是現在一個月後做nbme只有120-130/200
好像反而更差了!!
(之前有前輩說過听了goljian一遍可以達到146/200)
現在真的不知道可以做甚麼了!!!
絶望啊!!!!
我現在只可以再延到8月底了
各位前輩,我現在應該怎麼做才可以提高?

发帖数: 88 | 9 6月份开始看书，KN 病理生理看过一遍， 中文书病理生理药理微生物看过一遍，FA看
过一遍，有的是和FA小组，有的是自己看的。现在开始做UW，准备同时再过一遍FA，
和一些大家都说好的书，如GOLJIAN 病理 ， BRS生理， HY 神经解剖， microbiology
made ridiculous simple. 每天上下班路上听GOLJIAN 病理的录音，加强理解。
到年底计划2遍UW过完，那些书看完，FA2遍。 明年开始做其它的题，然后再过FA，记
忆。
这样可行吗？ 本来报名年底，本以为可以随便延期，刚打电话问了ECFMG， 才知道只
能延3个月，那么我要硬着头皮上了。请大家看看我这个计划行得通吗？
我现在全职上班， 看书时间是周1到周3 3个小时/天，周末8小时/天，另外周4周5在家
上班，可以 5小时/天。
请给我一些建议，谢谢！ |

发帖数: 449 | 10 I ever used my ipod touch to listen kaplan video and Goljian. It was a
painful experience to transfer the video and mp3 through itune. I have to
find an app to play the video however, it sucked the battery so fast that
only one video could be played for a fully charged ipod.
Also Goljian slides encountered similar problem. |

time and can only study for 4-5 hours per day, but sometimes I am so tired
after word and the quality of studying is not good.
Nabla: I have Goljian 's Path review book. Do you think audio is better than
book? Why most of people recommend audio in stead of book? thanks. |

发帖数: 634 | 16 MARK 的很干净,我是从老美那里买来的, 因为我用的时后就想再卖的, 我自己没有MARK
过, 发现她有的笔记也很有用的.
Q BOOK 没有MARK, 我都是做在草稿上的.
我的电子文档是送的, 包括 GOLJIAN AUDIO(还带笔记, 电子的,打印出来后,对着听就
可已了), KAPLAN VIDEO(在网上DOWNLOAD 的, 花了整整一个礼拜,是真人讲课,效果挺
好的), KAPLAN QBANK 是2007年底的版本, 一共有两千多道题, 有全部的解答. 医学其
实发展不会很快的, 我考完发现这些资料足够了, 用不着花钱买最新的.
当然你还要买FA的, 这是ESSENTIAL, 最重要, 我觉得FA 加上我的资料足够了.
可以买UW, 这个没有盗版的, 去USMLEWORLD 买. |

though I have the materials. So I didn't spent money on NBME to guess how
well I would do in real exam.

there are three items pop out (the first one is the one you wanted).
it will take time for you to download, but if you pay about 12 ~ 15 dollars
to buy a one month account, then you can download them within 1 day (

的lecture，也可以是NY Time等等。一般我刚上床的时候会想来想去一些事情，没法平
静下来，但一开始听英语，就开始打瞌睡，在时间还没有到得时候肯定就睡着了。这是
以前上课和听seminar落下的毛病，但我发现用来催眠还是很好的，看来事物都有两面
性，哈哈。

今天下午洗了个热水澡后终于倒下了,睡了3小时,起来以后还是头痛,不过不那么恶心了
,吃了advil没有用。要说用ipod 听Goljian,还有melatonin,以前都挺管用,这次不行了.
2周前,我做nmbe 烂得一坨的时候都没这样失眠,现在进步不少了,到反焦虑了,其实我觉
得那全是我LD 的功劳,只要他在我身边,我就什么也不怕,他就像个小孩,天天逗我开心,
又象是我妈妈,taking care of me like i am not his wife but his baby.
现在他不在, 版上的大家都这么热心给我建议,感觉真好,觉得很温暖,我应该坚强起来
才对.melatonin 一小时前已经吃了,现在就去睡觉了. |

listened to all the chapters whenever the power is on. I prefer to use this
audio when you have a whole picture of step1, rather than at the very
beginning. |

driving and running and it helped me a lot. the battery does run away
quickly, but what else can play it better and make it more convenient? And i
remember when UW app came out, i was able to do Qs while in meetings,
waiting in lines, or even in bathroom. Now with Retina display, I would be
able to read books on iPad which is hard to do with iPod or iPhone. |

发帖数: 464 | 47 393页上那个BUN:Cr ratio的图。关于prerenal azotemia和postrenal的区别，我个人的理解是：
prerenal的filtration fraction正常（GFR降低了，血流量也降低了），
而postrenal的FF减低了（管内压增加，GFR降低，血流量没变）。
我的问题是：
1. 在文字里，prerenal的那部分"decreased GFR causes creatitine and urea to
back up in blood" 是什么意思？如果FF没变，那么肾小管内的和血管内的分子数都和
正常时一样呀（总共15的话，3在肾小管，12在血管）？
2. 为什么postrenal的urea重吸收箭头比正常要粗？是因为管内压力大吗？但是管内的
分子总数比正常情况要少，即使压力大，重吸收也不一定多呀？
3. renal azotemia提到increased extrarenal loss of urea，这个是什么？
请高人指点。多谢。 |

却只有410（200），因为已经弃考一次，这次因为考完（5.14）后要去三藩开会，中间
又是一周不能看书，各位亲帮我看下怎么冲刺下吧
没有参加小组，一直闭门造车
FA，看了2遍
QW:看完书后第一次做60-70%，现在是把所有题marked了再做基本在80%-90%之间，还是
很多题已经很熟悉，看到选项就知道答案了，是不是已经没有再做的意思了，题目大部
分做了note,打印了出来每天在背
Goljian的录音，听了两遍，每天做实验也在听，感觉作用不大，不知道是不是没听到
要点，和GRE词汇一样，只记住笑话了
看了BRS-pathology，USMLE secret，其他什么都没看了，做出来基本是Muscular-
skeleton和Genetic比较差，Sim1和Form12都在borderline一下，FA上面这两个也相对
较少。
问题：
1）需要推迟考试吗？个人不想，因为想五年phd毕业麦，下学期开始就要准备ck和cs了
2) QW还有必要再做吗？还是开始专攻背FA了

发帖数: 270 | 49 同意---再推迟一下把，考个好成绩真的很重要，而且考砸了还没法再考。第一步是重
中之中。是一切的基石。坦白说，最好三位数成绩能上230。
建议：Goljian要对照transcript一起边看边听，不能当作相声听。真听进去了很有帮
助。要参加小组，每做一套题和大家一起讨论，分析。知道为什么对，为什么错。
Uworld也要找人讨论，答案为什么错，为什么对。 |
