今年的签证系统改了，预约变得容易多了，也不用刷号了。但是据说toronto montreal
都会等很
久才能取回护照，而且能预约到的也很晚了，所以还是一咬牙来了ottawa. 新系统允
许用信用卡付
费，不用跑银行了。
之前有一个一次的加拿大签证，这回也终于学会了当多次使用。虽然中间去了cruise但
是护照上没
有盖章，至于其他出了美国但仍从美国入境加拿大的我就不清楚了。不过我上次用这个
加拿大签证的
时候他看的似乎是我之前过期的加拿大签证（汗），这回才在我的签证上划来划去的。
还是在hotwire上定的downtown的酒店，加税60左右。这回也学乖了一概在scotiabank
取钱加花
加元的american express (可以在美国用美元还）
还是表一下吃喝玩乐。我这回又盛情回顾了那个french bakery + bunny's bistro,仍
然非常
可圈可点。另外还吃了一个摩洛哥菜也很不错，不过要过河在uptown. ottawa的
shawarma似乎也

去之前在这里问过一些问题，虽然被人鄙视了，可是想来还是写一些签经，也许对象偶
一样的菜鸟有点用。
本人背景：
f1，非敏感类专业phd。前两次美国签证都是在北京拿的。暑假从美国到爱尔兰旅游兼
小住一月。因此在都柏林签证。
预约：在都柏林签得先打预约电话，这个网站上都有。值得提醒的一点是他们不给预约
号，只是给你发个邮件确认你的预约时间。不过我还真没收到这个邮件，所以签证前一
天又破血打了一次，那人说有我的名字，去就行了。
准备：除了那些ds表以外，偶准备了系主任的信，大概是说偶是他那儿的学生，希望我
在开学之前回去，云云。然后就是从学校开了一个证明，说偶是已注册了的全职学生，
外加成绩单。支票交签证费。另外在都柏林美国使馆签证时需要带一个贴有5欧元的信
封，以用于使馆将签证寄回。
面签：进去以后才发现跟北京的美使馆比起来这儿的真是小多了。大概七八个... 阅读全帖 |
