来自主题: TrustInJesus版 - Why calvinism's "Totoal Depravity" is wrong ZT
Calvinism consists of theological doctrines which use words found in the Bib
le. However, Calvinism consistently redefines those words, takes them out of
context, applies the doctrines inappropriately, exaggerates the meaning of
the words to the extreme, or in some other way distorts the Word of God to m
atch the theology written by John Calvin in his book, Institutes of the Chri
stian Religion. The following is a typical definition of Total Depravity, th

Quo Vadis?
A Sermon on the Pericope Adulterae
by Michael Marlowe, 2004
The Quo Vadis story is one of those Legends of the Saints that are well-know
n to Catholics but practically unknown to Protestants. It is an ancient lege
nd concerning Peter's martyrdom, believed to be from the second century, and
preserved in the collection of legends included in the apocryphal Acts of P

来自主题: TrustInJesus版 - Why calvinism's "Totoal Depravity" is wrong ZT
why some so called "born again" favor Total Depravity? I think the partial
reason is the group of "born again" fear that they cannot obey god's laws.
So they must degrade themselves to the level of trashes. They use trashes t
o glorify our beloved God.

来自主题: TrustInJesus版 - The Millennial Kingdom--1. AMILLENNIALISM(2)
The amillennialist believes that God has abandoned Israel and is finished wi
th His national people forever. In short, Israel will not receive any of her
earthly promises. Therefore, they must get rid of the Millennium as a liter
al promise given to Israel. Of course, the Scriptures clearly teach that God
is not finished with national Israel (Rom. 11:1-2, 15, 25-27). In addition,
the amillennialist also teaches that the Church of today has supplanted or
taken over the place of national Israel an...

Depravity Equals Inability?
Most Christians, if asked whether man by nature is totally depraved, would l
ikely respond in the affirmative with, perhaps, some reservation concerning
the word "totally." However, the Calvinists' view of the obvious sinfulness
of mankind goes far beyond the average Christian's ordinary understanding of
depravity. As another leading Calvinist states, "Paul's assessment of perso

What Ability Is Needed To Receive A Gift?
The Bible makes it clear that salvation is the gift of God through Jesus Chr
ist, and thus no one can purchase, earn or merit his salvation. It must be r
eceived as a free gift. What ability of any kind is required to receive a gi

Unquestionably, to receive the gift of salvation one must believe the gospel

The Bible clearly teaches that the natural, unregenerated man can do good, a

Fritz Kreisler (1875-1962), the world-famous violinist, earned a fortune wit
