corporate announced lay-off this morning. The whole group was cut off.
Regular employees got severance package as expected. I got nothing as a
contractor. I have stayed with this company for 3 years (In Texas). I was
paid weekly W2 (just checked with my paystubs)
Can I collect unemployment benefits? HR does not know since she is never
done with contractors before and I am the only one in my group facing this
dilemma.

I filed my I-751 (remove condition of my green card) and got I-797 with a
receipt number on it. But when I enter this receipt number on USCIS website,
it cannot find my case. Does anyone know why?
I have not received the biometrics appointment notice. Do I have to wait
until then to be able to see my case online? |

cold. Remember Yanks got the chance to beat Hammel again
only because Showalter didn't show his respect to Raul
in Game 3.
Hammel failed to last 6 innings in both of his starts.
Failing to even qualify for a quality start is always bad
for postseason, where you have tight space to being vulnerable.
That forces the manager to either overuse trusted relievers
or send less reliable relievers to give up key runs.

suspect it was a sqeeze play, thought about it and folded because I have two
guys behinds me.
The raise got called by both btn and SB.
Flop Td 6h 3d. I sighed. But the action was heavy. Squeezer and SB in a
raise war.
All-in, SB with top set, Squeezer just like I suspected, KhQh with flush dr.
No flush on the river and SB won a $230+ pot.
If the hands just play out with no squeezer, I will be cut a leg today since

I got tilt much more often when playing HUSNG, especially playing with
some LAG regs. so much ego going on.
Usually when you got a bad beat or bad run and can not play your A game,
best plus EV is to take a break. Take a walk, do some workout, then come
back to see if you are on your game. Also, BR management is very important.
Always feel comfortable to move down, while never giving up taking shot a
higher level as well, just keep enough BR for lower level.

I have been playing relatively LAG, open quite a few pots and won quite a
few pots.
This hand I raised to 20$ with 6h8h at cutoff, got called by button and BB
. Button is very weak and passive player. Limped in many pot and only 3 bet
one time , showing QQ. He started the hand with around 500$, I got him well
covered.
Flop comes 2h 3 h 9h. BB checked, I bet 30$, button called and BB folded.
Turn was 9, pair the board, I bet 60$, button raised to 160$. what to do

still prefer flat call because a couple reasons:
1. I only shove on a draw if I think I was getting decent folding equity. In
this case, I think the chance of MP folding was slim after he already put $
120 with only 270+ to call my all-in bet. The pot is big enough. In all
cases, looks like I have to hit my draw to win.
2. Without folding equity, I always prefer a made hand rather than a draw. I

i'm a resident of AZ, so I apply for the Schengen visa by mail.
the consulates told me over the phone that the average processing time is 3
weeks. So I'm afraid I won't have enough time, I used the Fedex overnight
forward and back.
Sent on 16 at noon, got there on 17 before 9:30 am. sent from there on 18
before noon and got back to me on 19 in the morning.
Never expected it to be this efficient! Though I would recommend every one
to apply at least 4 weeks in advance |

man DVD last Friday. You can also check strawberries, coconuts, etc.
They are all retail stores under TWEC (trans world entertainment co.).
Got it modded yesterday using UDE. Very straightforward. Basically I
followed solituder's tutorial in JHQ. Only difference is that downgrade
to 4920 is not necessary. But it took me a while to figure out how to
setup the networking to xbox, because my router assigns the ip like 192.

从GOT一开始的Jon Arryn之死，刺杀Bran，Ned的死，到Jaime的断手，Joffrey的死，
Sansa落入Bolton，再到Cersei Margaery Loras被High Sparrow抓，这一系列事件，
Little Finger一直都是幕后的推手。
在小指头和玫瑰联手毒死Joffrey后，Sansa和Tyrion成了狮子家的重点怀疑凶手。小指

Aya和Sansa的对话显得太突兀太不近人情，一张纸条就能让人抛开一切亲情理智脑子这
么不好使，这桥段太三流了。
夜王标枪那段也极不合理，摆着一条坐满人停着不动的龙不射，偏要射远处的移动靶，
夜王威武！
感觉GOT还是等作者写完书再拍比较好，精彩的对话是GOT前四季的一大看点，照这个趋
势，后面好莱坞化太严重。 |

True story in NY; a woman got stabbed > a dozen times, screamed for help for
more than 20 minutes in a community. No one even cared to call 911.
Why? because everyone thinks someone else will do it.
There is somethign similar in this case. I can't deny that it's still very s
hocking and cold. China's got problems. Places like NY, will be more like Ch
ina, than rural places in USA. It's the pressure in life, realationship amon

是不行的，阉人的肌肉没有雄性激素刺激，不可能很发达，在冷兵器时代打仗会很弱的

GoT的westeros不是太小而是太大了
按照小说，westeros大陆是南美洲大小的，north基本就有巴西那么大，尺寸上要大过
战国七国加起来。但故事蓝本来源于英格兰，其实westeros的形状几乎就是英格兰+苏
格兰的翻版，这就造成了一个问题，以小岛历史为原型的故事跟一块大得多的大陆有各
种格格不入。仔细看五王战争那段，里面的战略战术极端小家子气，明显是村庄械斗的
规模，放在南美大陆上根本行不通。
而且考虑到故事里的科技水平，那么大一块地方，人口数量太小了 |
