attention to that and result in many double dribble calls.
If you dribble correctly, i.e., use hand softly absorb the momentum of the
rebounced ball, even though it appears that your hand was on the ball for
more than a second, you will still be fine since the ball is still moving.
However, if you grabbing the ball during that process, the dribble should be

second, pivot rule applies.
third, you can never travelling while dribbling.
fourth, regarding to your question of end dribble, it is defined as the ball
come to rest on your hands. Of course, now the key is how to determine when
it come to rest. Hold with two hands, or grabbing the ball are two
scenarios. Also, referee will blow the whistle if they think you "palm the
ball", which means they think you grabbed the ball. |
