我们自己的学区一般，附近有一个Chinese Immersion Charter School（主要用中文教
学，到8th grade），刚创办４年，还算摸索阶段，在当地中国人圈里有些口碑。

准化教育体系，完全不在点子上。
因为我福特的标准化流水线教育，本来就不是为了生产 National Match Grade 的 sub
-MOA 汽车。。。但你 sub-MOA 得上八级钳工手工 match，你这烤肉拉的价格得乘以一
万，你们买得起么？。。。就算买得起，这美国有多少八级钳工？是不是要学 LV 机车
包限量销售（当然是因为生产力不够）。
我福特的标准化流水线，本来就是为了价格便宜量又足地量产 15 MOA 的烤肉拉的。。
。再说对于 8 billions 猴子而言，在实战的双方都在移动对钢的情况下，sub-MOA 的
Remington 700 有球用啊。。。象牙塔里骗房顶的文科生，不会真的认为给猴子一把
Remington 700 National Match Grade，那猴子就能摇身一变成为 USMC 狙击手了？。
。。所以还是标准化量产烤肉拉是正道。。。而要搞 Remington 700 National Match

Curriculum,或ESC课）都是fully credential的老师，别的学区一般不是。例如Poway
有所学校的美术课是我一个做工程师的朋友去volunteer教的。
之所以要请家长支持是因为7，8年前，由于经济不好，学校需要砍掉ESC的课，后来学
区家长自发组织了一个筹款基金会来帮学区筹钱，这样孩子还是能够有ESC的课。如果
每个孩子都有完整的ESC的课的话，学区需要筹到2MM的钱，算下来每个孩子需要$800元。
Prop 30的通过并不意味着ESC teacher的职位就保住了。和7，8年前一样，留住ESC老
师的唯一办法就是靠家长的支持---羊毛出在羊身上。不过学区的人上次也肯定的告诉
我们了，学区不会降低他们在ESC老师方面的预算。（ESC有一部分的钱是学区出的，另
一部分是家长支持的。）
DMUSD每所学校有专门的的Science和Technology Labs和老师，这个许多其他的学区也

In the middle school and high school, many competitions are based on grade.
For example, Mathcounts, spelling bee, etc are for studnets 8th grader or
younger.
You should stay in the current grade, but you can take high level courses.
My kid is in 6th grade, but he is taking 8th grade math. He skipped 2 grades
by take credit by exam, but he is still considered as 6th grader for all
competition and are still socializing with all his 6th grader friends. |

篇原文来看看，原文是这篇2013年五月发表在Journal of the national cancer
institute的文章：Plasma Phospholipid Fatty Acids and Prostate Cancer Risk in
the SELECTTrial. 通讯作者和一作都是Theodore Brasky。
诈一看这文章发的还不错，JNCI影响因子13，14点左右。不过这篇文章的风格是非常
clinical的，很大程度属于resource based的研究（就是最关键的难度不是研究思路，
而是你有那么多的病人资源），所以吗，呵呵……而且我一看就以为一作一定是个MD医
生，没想到居然是个单纯的PhD做的，当然这都是题外话，一篇文章的好坏和发在哪里

This is histological grading of invasive ductal carcinoma of breast, based on tubular formation, mitotic count, and nuclear grade.
The link is about cancer staging, which means how extensive the tumor is involved, eg if there is axillary lymph node involved, if there's distant metastasis. |
