-disappointing season, but largely due to injuries(Blake especially).
-Paul Kariya's two injuries affected his speed and wrist shot.
-Temmu Selanne blamed himself for not working out.
-Foppa hasn't mentioned his intention yet.
-Under new CBA, every team have to make management changes. Avs will
still be an elite team in the NHL.

Forsberg only played half of the regular season games; both Blake and Foote,
imo, are not good as usual;konowalchuk is a good trade; tanguay dissapointed
in the playoff; Hinote not good all year; don't know why we got Salo.
Avs need to get 2 more good solid defense players for next season. |

last night's game (actually last 2 games)-angry. Then I came back
and watched the tape. Here's the conclusion I got: Granato has no
answer to Lemaire, period.
Even though Avs could survive tonight, Granato won't have answer
to Marc Crawford or Dave Tippett or whomever. We don't wanna see
Avs struggling through first (two) rounds then got smoked in Western
Finals-We want Lord Stanley Cup! Tony Granato simply has no idea
how to get |

发帖数: 707 | 4 Don't have much to say about Avs now, lack of work ethic.
I didn't like the firing of Bob Hartley from beginning and never
believed Tony Granato would take us far into the playoffs (i said
this last year, too), although I didn't like Hartley in person.
Last year's collapse in last 3 games agains Minnesota and this
year's lost of division title proved Granato's coaching ability.
However, I don't think Avs will be knocked out by Dallas, especially
if we can get Tanguay and Nikolishin back quickly. |

发帖数: 707 | 8 I wasn't angry on Avs being pulled to 7 games twice in last 3
years by LA Kings. LA is a physical team, they play us hard,
very hard. As a coach, i.e. Bob Hartley, you cannot let your
players play as hard as Kings coz you have to save some gas
in tank for Detriot, Dallas, St. Louis. But for this Minnesota
team, I can't find any excuse for Granato why Avs couldn't
finish them up as soon as possible. They're not physical, they
just wait, wait and wait, wait for your mistakes and capitalize
them. I |

Avalanche season ended in a surprise, I still couldn't believe it
this morning. I am still waiting for the opening of the series
against Vancouver Canucks. I am still tuning my radio for Mike
Haynes "between the pipes-avalanche pregame show". I am still
looking for John Kelly and Peter MaNab in FOX Sports...
Yes, it's over. They will not be back until October. It will be the
longest offseason I witnessed since 1998.

strange accent. Tony Granato don't have the ability to manage
playoff games. I didn't see much improvement yesterday, in terms of
coaching. Look at how bob is doing now in Atlanta. Avs can make
playoffs based on their All-Stars but to win the Stanley Cup, you
gotta have better coaching. |

have the confidence or passion either. The only thing unique in him is his
hockey instinct. Some combination of him and Bob Hartley would be perfect.
Let's hope Joe will still be available next year. I think Piere isn't
sure about the CBA thing yet, so he is reluctant to make any move.
BTW, how about BVP in Bronco uniform now. I think he'll survive the cut. |

Tanguay. Even without those players, they have a roster as good as any
other team except the Wings. On offense, they got three lines who can score
at the end of regular season, on defense, both Vaananen and Boughner are
solid,
they are plus players in both series.
The reason they lose is they don't have a system. Either Tony didn't have
one,
or the players didn't buy in his system. You can not penetrate Shark's

recognition from Pierre and players than Bob.
BVP sounded like the shanny's playbook is really complicated. I would be
thrilled to watch him and Cecil taking donkey's backfield next season!

trying to catch the Rockies rally last night and suddenly the great news
came out!
Next step is to make Forsberg stay in Denver.
