evidence of a current smog certification except when one of the following
occurs:
•The transfer occurs between a spouse, domestic partner, sibling,
child, parent, grandparent, or grandchild.
•A biennial smog certification was submitted to DMV within 90 days
prior to the vehicle transfer date (a vehicle inspection report may be
required for proof of certification). |

She's fine and expected it will happen soon or later. Unfortunately grandpa never got the chance to see his first great-grandchild in person but on the video. Grandpa's word was Max is so cute! At least he like Max. :) We're planning to go to Beijing this summer last week. Now trip is canceled. :( |

人(男人)在婚恋方面要开明得多：)那个时代貌似真的是一个思想自由(虽然物质贫穷)
的时代。这就奇女子了，那美国处处奇女子。我同事儿子20岁开始同一18岁的怀着别人
孩子的女孩谈朋友，然后在小孩两岁时结婚了。就一普通得不能再普通的美国人，同事

grandchildren，孩子妈妈因为吸毒，被剥夺了抚养权，现在孩子都归她抚养。三个孩
子都有问题，一个多动（孩子哪有不动的啊），一个有一型糖尿病，另外一个有自闭症

六十九岁。
来得太突然了，太突然了。
去年十一月，在一个会议上碰到我以前念博士时的committee member，告知导师得了血
癌，经过两个礼拜的治疗，他又准备回到研究中心每天工作半天。大家似乎比较乐观。
没想到刚过三个多月，他就永远地走了。
他为研究中心倾注了半生的心血。十多年前我刚来美到他手下学习的时候，他已经是中
心的主任。在我的记忆里，有至少三分之一的时间他都在外出差。没出差的日子，晚上
和周末总能看到他在办公室加班，经常很晚才牵着他那条陪伴了快二十年的狗离开。尽
管行政工作繁忙，他对手下学生的学术指导却一点也不懈怠。每次小组会议，他都很了
解每个人在做什么，思维敏捷活跃，问题总能问到实处，建议总能给得中肯，鼓励学生
从多个角度思考问题。有时我想，正是许许多多象他那样敬业、勤奋、热情、敢于尝试
的一代一代人，才使这个国家变得那么强盛。

当时小嫂子刚生了小孩2个月——我们家的第一个grandchild，我爸爸妈妈在那里帮助
照料。我没有自己的房间了，好在客厅很大——即使堆了无数人送给baby的各种小车和
衣服用具等的大包装盒子以后也还算大，我就睡在客厅沙发上。
我大哥向来不太睡懒觉，我回去后才发现他现在起的更早。还蒙蒙黑的夏天早晨——估
计怎么也不到5点吧——我在沙发上一翻身看见一个人在客厅走来走去，再仔细看看，
是大哥一脸严肃的抱着他的baby在客厅里转悠。我迷迷糊糊的问，干什么呀。大哥说，
小孩哭。他这么不停的在黑乎乎的客厅里走着，小孩就不哭了。他们自己的卧室摆了小
