某些人总是偷换概念，比如赵策赵老师，认为民国以弱胜强，打败了日本。
而我个人认为的是——Great Power概念产生以后，大规模的战争所谓胜败，是只有
Great Power国家才能拥有的，其它国家基本上都是酱油国，胜败区别不大。
Great Power的特点是：
1.有自己完整的发动战争的理由（Casus Belli）以及战争目标（War Goal），而不是
说“因为它打我所以我就只能抵抗”，或是“宗主国与对方开战了，so do I”，甚至
“我们只是在包围网参加者中，糊里糊涂就开战了，系统默认的”；战争目标应该是“
占领对方首都”、“割地”或是“强迫对方承认失败”，而不应该是“抵抗住对方就可
以了”、“我们在等外部援军”；
2.有强大完整的工业体系，能够自给自足，有自己的军事体系，不是5万吨钢就解决问
题了；
3.能够领导非Great Power，与其他Great Power是联合或是战争状态，而不是从属；

够形象的哎，你们看李冰帖子的那个大蓝苍鹭就是趟着水的，和鸟书上的图真像。我的

发帖数: 3478 | 42 这个秋天我去了Vermont，也走了趟West Virginia，但是，你若问我最喜欢哪里，
我却要说，让我流连忘返的最爱，是离我家门口不远的Potomac河上的Great Falls。就是DC beltway Exit 43 或44出去一点点就到了。
great falls水势盛大，宛如中学课本上读到的长江三峡一般（这边叫Mather Gorge）。如果说钱江潮奔腾时如千军万马，那great falls恐怕就只有一条巨龙在咆哮，还有几条小龙，吐的水小点慢点。
下面是今年秋天的great falls，也就是过去这几个星期里刚刚拍的。

秋来秋又去了，秋天带给我一大堆照片，也留给我一丝丝淡淡的忧伤。 |

大白鹭（Great Egret），洁白无瑕、娇美动人，我两周前有幸偶遇过一回，被他的美
丽震撼了，那种惊艳的感觉至今未曾消退。当天我就迫不及待地上了一批照片。前两天
李冰贴了大蓝苍鹭（Great Blue Heron）的系列照片，又勾起了我对我的大白鹭的思念
。这不，我把剩下的也整理一下，挑挑拣拣，再上一批。其实挑拣的时候很纠结，好多
我都喜欢，但是怕重复忒多了，无奈，很多都忍痛割爱了，呵呵。
蓝、白二鹭在鸟书中同属Wading Birds（P57）。话说‘wading’介词儿我不认得，一
查，呵呵，是说这类鸟统称为“趟水鸟”（或，“蹚水鸟”）吗？要是这样的话，可真
够形象的哎，你们看李冰帖子的那个大蓝苍鹭就是趟着水的，和鸟书上的图真像。我的
