I am US citizen. I am thinking to apply green card for my parents.
I have two questions:
(1) how long does it take to get green card if they are here, and if they
are not here?
(2) My dad has Parkinson's disease. I wonder if he qualifies for green card.
I checked the physical exam for green card, "Classes of Inadmissibility"
defines "People likely to become dependent on need-based government
assistance". He needs my mom to take care of him everyday.
Anyone has experience?

本人目前在OPT（Optional Practical Training）阶段，持F-1 学生签证，今年已经
获得博士学位， 在美国有一份全职工作， 但是 明年7月中旬（July， 2012） 我的
ＯＰＴ就过期了， 现任雇主并不打算给我办工作签证除非我自己请律师， 他们会配
合提供相应的资料。
我未婚夫在美国有一份稳定的工作， 是德国籍美国green card 持有者（已经持美国
green card 10 年了）， 他还没有入美国籍，目前 正在申请办理美国公民自然化入
籍手续。
我们想问我和我未婚夫在美国结婚后（在我的ＯＰＴ过期以前）， 假如他的美国自然
化公民申请还未办好， 我的OPT又过期了，我会被要求离开美国吗？
我未婚夫打算等我和他一结婚后就为我申请美国green card。 或者我们应该等他拿到
美国公民身份以后再结婚， 这样方便他为我申请美国green card申请的程序？
我恳请有类似于我和我未婚夫外嫁外娶经验的姐妹兄弟支招。

A marriage does not automatically change your status, and you have to apply
for your own immigration visa. A green-card holder can help his spouse to
apply, but there is very long 排期, not useful for you. A citizen can help
his spouse to apply for a green card much faster. Unless you have applied
for some visa, you may lose your status and have to leave.

知道哪个更大？反正我很喜欢Guilford Green旁边那排小店，感觉比New Haven这里
Chapel St上的店更bright更friendly更open似的。可能因为大部分是白色建筑，感觉
就很亮。水果啊什么都放在店外，更有乡村的感觉，new haven更城市化一些。
guilford那些店也对我胃口，什么玩具店啊古玩店啊画馆啊乱七八糟的艺术店啊。new
haven的chapel st上也有一些，但好像没那么多。也可能我在new haven逛熟了，就觉
得guilford更新鲜。
guilford比new haven小，开车人更gentle更礼让。但又比woodbridge人多，
woodbridge地广人稀，开车很猛。所以给我感觉guilford的size和人口正合适，地方不
大，人和人之间比较熟悉，都很亲切友好，我们在green上和随便什么人交谈游玩都觉
得他们很有人情味。Guilford还靠海，有海滩和很多水上运动可以玩。我忘了以前我们

我们说的是潜力。Julio Jones可能是未来几年里面受关注最多的WR了，因为他的变数
很大，可能成为下一个TO，也可能是个bust。不过我觉得Jones更像Andre Johnson，身
体变态的全能战士，虽然手不够稳，但是不妨碍他成为联盟最佳WR。

他hzpl 等一行四人来到著名的 Green River/Flaming Gorge 度过了世外桃源般的三日
。每天日出开钓，日落收杆，疯狂的钓了三天两夜。第一天沿河上行边走边钓，第二天
从Flaming Gorge Dam 乘橡皮筏顺 Green River 而下7 miles，水中鳟鱼触手可及，两
岸美景尽收眼底，时时靠岸小钓一把，累了就在岸边野餐休息，直到天黑返回仍意犹未
尽，又来到 Flaming Gorge 夜钓Rainbow，收获颇丰。第三天大家各取所好分头行动，

而后我又改了wireless set up 里的一个选项,好像是WPA,还有什么选项的改了一下
结果之后连DSL的light 也off了,也不green了,
于是我连192.168.0.1也登陆不进去了
我给CENTURYLINK 的客服打电话,这群家伙只知道告诉你重启猫,重启电源,RESET猫
我跟他们说,让他们重新帮我se tup,或者是把我账户里的设置改成原始状态,他们不肯,

当时是 pwr light on (green), DSL light on(green),
于是我登陆到 192.168.0.1, 重新 quick up了一遍
而后我又改了wireless set up 里的一个选项,好像是WPA,还有什么选项的改了一下
结果之后连DSL的light 也off了,也不green了,
于是我连192.168.0.1也登陆不进去了
我给CENTURYLINK 的客服打电话,这群家伙只知道告诉你重启猫,重启电源,RESET猫
我跟他们说,让他们重新帮我se tup,或者是把我账户里的设置改成原始状态,他们不肯,
说我的猫坏了,我说不是,他们不信
说他们可以派人到我们家来检验,要我出$80
请问有没有什么好办法,多谢 |
