Well, I said American truck buyers AT LARGE are
irresponsible, you can't push this to extreme.
Heavier tax maybe, complete ban is insane. What
'bout giving 18-wheeler license to teen drivers?
Probably not. But I do want my truck freight arrive
on time. Simple reasoning.
If all the SUV's on the road are driven by adventurous
off-roaders, frequent visitors to snow-covered territories,
I'd hail everyone of them with admiration, but the simple
fact is too many of the dorky SUV owners just plain don... 阅读全帖

The standard XC90 gets a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged engine with
all-wheel drive making an impressive 316 horsepower. Or if buyers want to
be a little greener and more powerful, there is the XC90 Twin Engine plug-in
hybrid with the same engine, albeit augmented with an electric motor to
produce a staggering 400 hp.

I used to work in a largest biotech company as a senior scientist, but I
chose to return to the public sector. Even though there have been lots of
hoops that I have to jump, I would not go back to the similar or higher
position in the industry. As it says: the grass on the other side of the

AP的工资并不高。MIT的AP也就是九个月十万左右。但是做

我们经常用“这山望着那山高”来形容那些觉着其他地方更好的人的想法。
或许有一点贬义。英文里好像叫做“the other side is greener”,
意思是那边的草比这边的草更绿。
我觉得这山望着那山高少于这山望着那山低。呵呵。
让我们来看下面这个例子。
在地球的表面有两座山,一座山叫南山,一座山叫北山。
假如说南山和北山一样高,我们站在南山上看北山一定会觉得北山低;
同样我们站在北山上看南山一定会觉得南山低。
只有远处的山比脚下的山高出一定的高度后,我们才能觉得远处的山
比脚下的山高。

be unbearable if you think you can just replace an existing system running

some of) your new stuff into production without offending the status quo?

You are cutting too much off at one time.
You need to raise the height or cut more often.
I do not suggest you cut more than 1 inch off each time, I usually cut off 1
/3 inch each time. During fast growing season, that means cut every other
day. Much better for the grass.
Also make sure your blade is sharp, a dull blade torn off the grass instead
of a clean cut, it hurt the grass more and can get diease more easy. A clean
cut will produce much greener grass, dull torn off will produce yellow

I clean under the deck by water, sharpen the blade and oil the blade, takes
just a few min each time.
Here is a secret many of you may not know, a sharp blade produce a clean cut
, a dull blade torn off the grass instead of cut it. Clean cut grass will
look greener, torn grass will look brown and easy to catch disease. I
sharpen the blade on the mower after each cut, but only balance the blade
once or twice per season (which require the blade to be taken off the mower
and takes more time)
