提前留意，错过了不久前overstock一个特价$100的grohe
去homedepot，lowes转了几次毫无收获。
今天去great indoors，在clearence架子上看见了这个grohe europlus
居然只要$32.47，立马就买了下来，好便宜啊啊。 |

标 题: KitchenSink哪个好？Blanco, Franke, Elkay, Grohe and Kohler。

这几个牌子如何比较？打算买undermount，不锈钢的。但是有几个问题，一般都要几个
bowl？就是一般33inch的。两个的话，好像美国人习惯是大的洗碗，小的倒脏东西，然
后用disposal粉碎。但是我们平常不太用disposal，是否一个bowl就可以了？好像
rectangular的比比较圆的贵很多，为什么？
另外faucet直接放在granite counter上面好不好？有没有人买一个顶上有边的，然后
faucet装在stainless steel上面？

home depot/lowes卖的$30的水龙头差吧。
再说还有lifetime warranty。 |

发帖数: 3319 | 10 我自己装了grohe wexford 3-hole faucet. 严格按照没有任何文字说明
的安装示意图，没有说要用plumber's putty, 也没特别指明说不用。装完后当中杆子
拉起to stop water drain, 但水从sink中间metal ring边上往下漏,metal ring下有黑
色垫圈。
我现在两种方法，一种是把sink 下plstic gray nut拧更紧（已经用basin wrench拧很
紧了），我有点担心会把plastic nut 拧裂了。还有一种是拆掉安装，重新在中间的
drain stop ring下放plumber's putty.
请问我该用哪种办法。多谢大家。 |

Grohe更是life time的保证。其他的牌子没有那么牛。

发帖数: 9607 | 17 你太迷信德国货了。grohe是不错但是我并不觉得比其他大牌子明显强。我自己买的
grohe厨房水龙头，在amazon上有人反映用几年后软管就破了。好在我买时只花了1/10
的价格买的，而且有lifetime warranty。我在浴室用的price pfister水龙头开关起来
感觉就比grohe的更平滑。
德国牌子还有一个叫hansgrohe在美国卖的很多，我就觉得很差而且价格挺高。 |

Delta is owned by masco, if you need to buy a masco faucet, hansgrohe is a
much better made product. (this is not the same as grohe brand, which is a
private company founded by Hans Grohe's son Friedrich and not part of masco) |

发帖数: 2719 | 20 基本上Grohe的东西都还不错，都是德国制造的。家里装修最贵是人工，买好一点的东
西是应该的。我家里都是用grohe的龙头，洗手洗澡都是的。
如果要省钱delta的东西也还不错，对得起价钱。其他的牌子都不中用。
sink和toilet也还是用好的东西吧。厕所可以用德国的duravit，厨房用瑞士的franke
都不错。洁具还是用德国瑞士出的比较好，以后清洗保养都补交好。美国的牌子如
american standard, kolher等价钱也不便宜还都是中国制造。我并不反对中国制造，
但是如果价格还是卖德国制造的就不值了。 |

定的螺母。专门的basin wrench都不行，想想可能只有专门那种加长管子的套筒才可以
。可是超过5寸长的套筒我还没找到。 |

发帖数: 2719 | 48 马桶是德国duravit的最好。Grohe没有出马桶的。Kohler不是不好，只是现在东西都是
中国制造，价格却还是原来的高价。同样这点价钱，多个20％就可以买德国制造的
duravit，为什么不呢？因为装修最贵是人工，东西买好一点用久一点在长期看来还是
划算的。
HD不会有卖duravit的，因为德国进口的东西成本高，HD不能像从中国进口那样压低价
格，德国人不吃这套，他的利润空间少，HD是不会卖的。可以在网上买。

The labor cost is about $3.5K - $4K per regular sized bathroom. Cost of
faucets (sink/shower or tub, with brands like Grohe or Hansgrohe) about $
1500, tiles: $1000, tub/sink/toilet (mostly Duravit, some Toto) $2000,
others (lighting, bar, etc): $200.
The total cost per bathroom is about $8K - $9K. I think the amount is
reasonable and it at the reflection point of diminishing return. Anything
