about the grommet, the little tube that holds the string so
that it won't touch the racket directly. Once those things got
broken, the string will cut into the racket and break very soon.
They are made of crappy plastic and become very crispy after 20
years... |

sting梦，呵呵。而且grommet还是好的，还带bumper guard. 线似乎是nylon
的。
参数大致如下：
Head Size: 85 sq. in.
Length: 27 inches
Strung Weight: 12.6oz
Balance: 7pts Head Light
Swingweight: 326
Stiffness: 61
Beam Width: Straight Beam
Composition: 100 % Graphite
Power Level: Low
Swing Speed: Fast
Grip Type: Leather
String Pattern: 16 Mains / 18 Crosses
试了两下发现甜点很小，比Wilson Graphite Force Mid容错性小，估计跟stiffness
更高有关。 |

the other is $99. The demo racket is the last one that has grip size of 3/8.
I cannot find any trace of usage on the demo racket. Guess they changed the
head guard, replacement grip and grommet all together. Seems demo racket is
not bad for its price at all.

发帖数: 1893 | 26 今天刚试完朋友新买的head mgp mp，写个测评，顺便总结一下其他拍子。
先谈做工，head的bumper/Grommet做工没得说，四大里面最好的了。
握起来头轻得厉害，比K95轻十几克，但感觉轻很多。拍面标的是98，
实际相当于其他厂家95的拍子。拍子是略微的倒过来的水滴型，
不是正常的椭圆形。类似硬度软点的Wilson N/K95 team
or 亚洲版N/K 95。跟K95比，很容易加拍头速度，正手暴力性差点，
反手我单反准备更充分（看来我单反力量还是不足），被动时候的削球
有最好的手感（特别是正手），但是拍头太轻，力量不够，回球较浅。
总体感觉是一款比较平衡的拍子，对挥拍准备要求很高的拍子。对水平
比自己高一档的对手，要有得网球肘的心里准备。手腕派和暴力的建议试试
穆雷的mgp pro。
wilson,babolat,head,prince这是我个人的拍子厂商实力的评价
Wilson我就不展开说了，产品系列非常全，其他牌子有的都能从Wilson
找到类似的。wilson的拍子让我感到困惑的是grip size，标同样大小
的grip，比别家的要大半号，可能是他家用皮柄的问 |

09版换了teflon grommet，neck位置加了2道红色条纹
10版就是现在tw上卖的，为了和head其他几个系列统一，涂装完全改了 |

左边是Wilson Graphite Force Mid 85，跟KPS88比较接近。Grip size 4 1/4.
中间是Head Graphite Pro Mid 90, 跟Prestige Mid比较接近。Grip size
4 5/8.
右边是Wilson Sting 2 Mid 85, 跟Prostaff 6.0比较接近。Grip size 4 1/2.
右边的是偶当前的主力拍，左边的是pusher拍，中间的是打墙拍。
左边这个如果打断线就只能扔掉了（无配套grommet可供购买），
其他两个还有重新绷线的可能。
总价值$7 + $5 + $2 + $2(overgrips) = $16. //sigh... |

and Wilson Mid and I've experimented with them. I personally
feel their error tolerances are about the same.
For the comparison of Head Mid 90 vs Wilson Mid 85, I need more
time to experiment but current I mishit more with Head. It
might due to string tension is too low. I need to try more once
have it restrung with a new grommet installed.

The only market for it is probably on Talk Tennis at around $30.
I still have to buy a grommet and have it restrung, which costs
about $25...
However, it does have the exactly same head size and string pattern
as the current Prestige Mid and therefore is expected to have the
same sweet spot pattern.

Prince Precision Graphite，图片太模糊，偶还以为是mid，
就去了，才发现是OS 110 (实际面积104），//sigh, 但又不好
意思嫌弃人家，于是买下。$10 for 2 rackets. 由于年代久远，
两把拍子的绝大多数grommet都断裂了，等线打断就不准备再绷了。
其他方面保养得很好，包括质量非常好的leather grip.
这个是Prince的第一款Precision Graphite，产于1983年，不是
后来的新版（例如加州洪帅哥用的那款）。只有一个Pro用过:
Pam Shriver.
Weight: 11.8 oz strung
measured 9 pt head light
现在偶总共有3把POG时代的拍子了:
Magnesium Pro OS (magnesium alloy)
2 x Precision Graphite OS (70% graphite 30% fiberglass)
还没有试打，但是不出意料感觉应该和Magnesium很相近：power

偶就觉得出奇的沉，明显挥不太动。而12.6 oz, 7 pt head light的
Wilson Sting就比较适应。偶怀疑是不是网上的参数不准，等回头自己
量一下。还有一种可能性是grip太大了(4 5/8 + overgrip) 抓不紧。
昨天由于挥不动拍，overhead成功率只有20%, 正手很多球都压不住打飞
了。但是正反手一旦打到了，偶的2.5球友就基本上没戏了，回合比较少。
这个Prestige Mid系列真是名不虚传的暴力拍阿。
由于偶将来还要将此拍装上新的grommet，相当于lead up the head，将
更加难挥动，这不禁令偶比较担忧。 |

aerogel-d3o-graphite with Teflon grommets and cortex 要你命3000的拍子，再加
上秦琼年轻好几百年，估计秦琼会赢。 |
