Brock Berlin第三。但是当时的媒体给 Berlin 的宣传比 Grossman 多的多，
已至於最后毛人当政之后，我还不知道这家伙什么时候来的UF。
Grosman 能上台有他小兄弟的功劳。Jabar Gaffney和Reche Caldwell这
两个 receiver 和 Grossman 同年来的，同年redshirt，他们在一起做二线队员
训练了一年，配合的滚熟。2000，这两个人先于Grossman当上了主力，大家也许
还记得 Gaffney 接 Palmer 传球气走田纳西。
由於 Grossman 传球又远有准，加上他的小兄弟倾向于和他配合，最后在2000年底，

Grossman 高中是在印第安纳，虽然成绩匪然，但是UF基本上不在midwest recruit，
所以Grossman 就只好自己主动找到STEVE，给他看了自己比赛的录像带。
看完之后，STEVE同意接受毛人GROSSMAN，那时候是1999年，JESSE和DOUG这两个
二百五还在为主力位置你死我活。
半年之后，BERLIN也来到了FLORIDA，因为当时是人就能看出来UF的QB位置要空出来了，
而他刚获得了 National High School Player of the Year，这个位置
对BERLIN最合适。
GROSSMAN在整个1999是REDSHIRT，2000年是一个紧张竞争的年份。 |

Hart 的主要贡献就是在contract theory，这确实是具备深远思想的一系列工作，所以
又想起了这个帖子。
昨天朋友圈在讨论，为什么 Sandy Grossman and John Moore 没有分享这个殊荣？
一种看法是，他们各自在其他领域也有重要贡献，得奖只是时间问题。
另一种看法是，他们永远不会得奖了，因为Grossman离开了学术界，而 Moore 不在宇
宙中心。
不知道时间最后会判决哪一种预言。

以比较确定的是瓦西里的确打死了德国一个牛人，不过具体身份确定可能出了问题。
比较有趣的是，Grossman的日记里面提到红军里面有一个士兵叫瓦西里扎伊采夫的，被
判了死刑，但是没有执行，后来这人成了著名的狙击手。而扎伊采夫的回忆里面也提到

我对柏林所知盛少，但是当时MEDIA的观点是：
1。VERY TALENTED。1999 USA HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER OF THE YEAR
2。能跑能传，臂力过人
尽管柏林在佛大是GROSSMAN的替补，大家也没有放在心上，毕竟GROSSMAN是COLLEGE
FOOTBALL数一数二的PASSER， HEISMAN FINALIST， 给他当替补也不丢人
DORSEY的最后一年， MIAMI的OFFENSE状态有些下降，但仍然IMPRESSIVE，经典之战包括
客场打暴GATORS，WIDE LEFT击败FSU。 冠军赛失利后，DORSEY在第七轮DRAFT去了49ERS
，柏林正式TAKE OVER。
大家万万没有想到的是，MIAMI FOOTBALL (至少是OFFENSE)的黑暗时代开始了

事态的发展大家都知道，毛人如日中天，以suffermore身份夺得海斯曼第二名。Berlin
根本没有上场表现机会直到ORGANE BOWL。
值得一提的是BERLIN的身份，由於当时毛人还没有冒出来，Berlin 在2000年的一场比赛
中作为第一培养对象上场，这样他就失去了RED-SHIRT的机会和宝贵的一年。

记得他说过的一句话是“后来GROSSMAN上来之后，UM就不行了”。的确是
这样，BERLIN在当场表现的水平和GROSSMAN还是差了一个档次。
BERLIN这个人的FOOTBALL生涯到现在基本上已经走到到头，这里面主观的，
客观的因素，谁也讲不清。但是我们知道可以想象，他曾经仰头长叹\
“既生B，何生G”，人生就是这样。
2002年初MIAMI夺得全国冠军的第二天，STEVE宣布从UF退役。在当天5pm
召开的临时记者发布会上，STEVE说"they call me jerk, they call me
arrogant, but at least they don't call us losers".

当Gator fan的历史不算太长，从2000年开始吧。那还是SOS时期，牛逼哄哄，
gator fans每年都在憧憬NC game。不过估计SOS压力也挺大。他离任的时候
曾说gator fans期望太高，SEC Champion都满意不了，这也是他离开的小借口
之一。
2000年我们得了SEC champion,但客场输给了FSU，还输了Miss State（01年SOS 52
比0大胜Miss st.报了仇）。Rex Grossman 2000年是freshman,不过已能得到
很多上场机会，show出了点他的潜力。那时候谁也料不到，2000年竟是我们到现在为止的
最后一次SEC champion。
2001年，二年级的Grossman已经牛起来了。常规赛UF击退LSU,UG,FSU。客场打Auburn，
终场前14秒Auburn搞进去个飞狗，输了3分。在12月1日打Tennesee前UF9胜1负排名第二。
本来我们应该9月份打Tenn,那时候正是兵强马壮，结果遇上911，这场比赛推迟到了
12月，成了regula |
