如果grower愿意，完全可以买转基因的品种，按organic的方法种。
但问题是应该没人这么做，用转基因品种能不能certify organic是一个问题，另一个
问题是，转基因本身是为了高产低投。organic又是一个高投入的种植方式，所以就算
可以，grower也不会在一个本可以低投入高产出的品种上下血本去certify organic种

India topples Thailand as world's largest rice exporter
India has the emerged as the world's largest rice exporter in 2012 beating
its Asian counterpart Thailand with shipment of 9.75 million tonnes,
according to United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA's) latest
report.
Thailand was the top rice exporter with exports of 10.65 million tonnes in
2011. However, its volume slipped to 6.5 million tonnes in 2012.

联邦人力资源及技术发展部长范茵丽(Diane Finley)昨天代农业部长作出上述宣布﹐目的是增加本国人参产品于全球市场的竞争力﹐及发展新市场。
她说﹐让安省人参种植者更有能力地向全球推广加国人参﹐也能帮助刺激本地经济。她指本国的人参种植者能示范不少工业能打进新发展市场﹐推动本国经济。
「安省人参种植协会」行政主管Marvin Karges表示﹐该会高兴获得上述拨款及农业部及加国农产品局(Agri-Food Canada)的支持。
该项拨款能让他们制造加国人参品牌﹔吸引新顾客﹔及为该协会制订在亚洲市场发展的推广策略。
政府通告称﹐加国人参的质素已获亚洲国家认可。在欧洲人抵达北美之前﹐原住民已有用人参作药材用﹐包括其清凉感觉能减压和加强内脏功能。
也有研究试验用加国人参治疗2型糖尿病﹑预防呼吸感染﹑增强记忆﹑医治乳癌及前列腺癌病等。
