原来的想法是没打算去Big Bend的，但是最后走到10号上，还是去转一下吧，尽管fufu说
这个季节没有什么野花，不是最好看的时候。早上一早就从Ft. Stockton出发了，哼，显
然Juno(Netzero)对德州的重视程度显然不如其他州。在荒无人烟的德州西部，Ft.Stockt
on已经该算是个不小的镇子了，竟然没有没有这个区号的Access number。害得我折腾了
电话卡，还是上不了网。

车上坐了6个人，大家带的行李都不多，倒也不算拥挤。
历时6天，从2013年12月27至2014年1月1日，跨越四个州，CA-AZ-TX-NM，全程
2000miles。
详细路线：LA - Phoenix - Saguaro National Park - El Paso - Guadalupe
Mountains National Park - Carlsbad Caverns National Park - White Sands
National Monument - Petrified Forest National Park - Phoenix - LA.

Chaco和Taos都值得看看，毕竟是世界遗产，不过去Chaco的路经过印第安人保留地，很
难走……
NM的风景要么在南面，要么在北面，如果时间只是4-5天，很难兼顾。去南面不如就白
沙＋看鸟＋Carlsbad＋Guadalupe
去北面的话Santa Fe＋Taos＋Tent Rocks＋66号路＋El Malpais＋Bisti＋Chaco＋四角
，还可以带上Mesa Verde |

我先考古了一下， 但还是不确定NM的鸟岛是不是 BOSQUE DEL APACHE。
请问四月中询 BOSQUE DEL APACHE 还会有壮观的万鸟齐飞的场面吗？
因为看鸟飞的时间最好是日出前，所以如果四月中旬没什么好看的话，就不用起个大早
过去了。希望有经验的朋友共享一下。

浩浩荡荡杀奔Almaden Quicksilver County Park展开了全民健身的登山活动。
这天风和日丽，蔚蓝的天空飘着不多的几朵白云，原本预定的10：30出发时间，因着数
人无法起床不得不推迟到11:04分，据说凭次一项，某人挣下了N个包子。
当天到场的有老有少，有男有女，有牵家带口的，有情侣依依，在公园门口统计实际到
达35人，甫进公园便有人强登陆WC，因厕所门无法关闭，有热心ID以大力武当腿顶住门
扇得以行方便之事。
公园的山路宽敞，路上众人有说有笑，情绪高涨。出行前就有人提到此行有众多登山高
手，果其不然飞毛腿们大步流星很快拉开了队伍....... 队伍从头到尾拉开了大概有一
英里；纵然黎叔在世，恐怕也要慨叹：队伍散了，人心不好带了。
盛夏还未到来之前的山峦绿草如茵，草丛中开着朵朵加州黄金婴粟，众男士在第一次歇
息的时候兴高采烈地谈起了罂粟火锅的可行性。
山路慢慢变得高低起伏，但不时有树阴掩盖的路段，经过GUADALUPE水库的时候，路边

个问题，不是85才有这个问题。101更堵。
（2）94124内有上Guadalupe小学或是Blossom Hill小学的，都是900多分。Leigh High
800多分。考虑到种族因素（80%白人），这个含金量更高，因为亚裔在里面是笃定在
前面的。
（3）95124很少墨西哥人。白人多确实是个问题（约占70%），不过这个有利有弊。
Palo Alto不也白人多。
（4）说没有sunnyvale, cupertino 安全的说法是不正确的。我有个朋友住Lynbrook学
区，去年家里被break-in了两次，sunnyvale一个朋友也是，在95124倒没听说过。 |

Guadalupe landfill 有气味吗?去了几次没闻到。但又怕天气和风向不好的时候会有。
我鼻子不太灵但是Milpitas的那个总是会闻到的。这个是不是和milpitas那个埋的不一
样的垃圾。
有没有住那附近的和常从camden走的同学透露一下。谢谢。 |

交界那块吧。 API还不错， 记得有950左右， 白人比较多， 亚裔10+%吧。中国人在那
里的应该不多， 具体情况我也不知道。 整体环境看，附近有个老的WINERY PARK，还
有一个比较大的PARK， 环境还挺好的，不过学校附近没去过， 就不知道了。 |

Guadalupe river trail (from Willow Glen/San jose downtown to north San Jose
to bay)
San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail (from El camino/San Tomas to bay)
And the Bay trail (west-east).
The above are bike/pedestrian only trail, no motor vehicles allowed.
In general, if you live west of 680 (Santa Clara/Sunnyvale), then biking is
most likely feasible.
