China Mulls Letting Four Brokers Try Margin Trading (Update3)
Oct. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Citic Securities Co. and three other brokerages may
be allowed to offer loans for stock purchases as China's government seeks to
bolster the market after the benchmark index slumped 66 percent this year.

政府周六公布的数据显示，中国6月份CPI较上年同期上升6.4%，为2008年6月以来的最
高升幅。
6月份CPI升幅高于5月份的5.5%，也略高于此前接受道琼斯通讯社(Dow Jones
Newswires)调查的16位经济学家上升6.3%的预期中值。
国泰君安证券(Guotai Junan Securities)的分析师石伟翔表示，猪肉价格高于预期使
得6月份CPI升幅略高于他们的预期，说明通货膨胀压力依然较大，可能在近期内制约市
场的信心。
经济学家普遍认为，由于食品价格企稳，而且上年同期的比较基数有所提高，中国的通
货膨胀率将在6月份见顶，并在下半年回落。但这种预期还远不是那么确定。
石伟翔称，在7月份数据公布之前，市场对于6月份CPI是否见顶可能不会非常肯定。
美国银行/美林(Bank of America-Merrill Lynch)的经济学家陆挺在研究报告中表示，
他目前认为，中国今年全年的平均通货膨胀率可能要略高于他早些时候预计的4.7%。
