Pehar和Nechung喇嘛的死对头就是Dorje Shugden。
Dorje Shugden也是一个守护神(恶神)和占卜神，从画像上看，它面目狰狞，骑一
匹雪狮，驰骋在血海之上。它是黄教内部保守派和死硬派所信仰的神，他们的政治主张
就是黄教的统治权，其它教派必须服从。这一主张和十四世达赖的政策相冲突，十四世
达赖的政治目的在于将达赖喇嘛凌架于喇嘛教各教派之上，而不只是黄教的领袖。为了
得到其它教派的支持，达赖喇嘛必须约束黄教内部的死硬派----Dorje Shugden信仰者

一来，我需要在词汇的选择上做艰难的决定。我想很重要的是要了解，至今对梵文及藏
文的佛法词汇，尚无真正终究共识的英文译法。在佛教不同的派别中，如上座部、禅宗
、密宗等，或甚至在藏传佛教各派中，都有不同的意义和拼音。一个好的例子是Zag
Bcas(音 Zagchey，攘卸)，在本书中我们译成“情绪”，如同在“一切情绪皆苦”之中
。这个词汇的选择令一些人认为太广泛而不以为然，他们认为并非所有一切情绪都是痛
苦。然
而，对另外一些人则认为这不够广泛而不以为然，因为Zagchey比较精确的翻译包含得
很广。
秋吉宁玛仁波切（Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche）在他所著作的书《无可摧毁的真理》（
Indistructable Truth）中所说，Zagchey一字直接的意义是“与掉落或移转有关”。
