“I wished I hadn’t been late.” 是指你家公子在跟你说这事儿的时候，指出他在
刚刚迟到的那个时候“wish"（所以等到他跟你说的时候，就已经过去一些时候了，就
成了wished了）, 所以当时的“weren't late" 也就成了过去完成时“hadn't been"了。
如果他刚刚迟到的时候，（假设他跟老师说这个），那他就该说“I wish I weren't
late". 明白了吗？ |

Marriage is not a light promise, it should not be casually discussed and it
