Braden Halladay, 已故MLB著名前投手Roy Halladay家的老大，作为加拿大青年队的一
员，在与多伦多蓝鸟队的一场spring training的比赛中，出场投了一个inning,表现很
好，3 up 3 down...视频里只有最后一个ground out的play，就引来了1万多人在那个
tweet下面点赞，大家惊叹的最多的一件事情就是Braden的delivery和Roy年轻时候简直
一模一样，而且这场比赛又恰好是对蓝鸟，他父亲的ex-team，当解说员很激昂地说“
So Halladay got the third out...”,我真的瞬间仿佛穿越回到了十几年前。。。我
想看过Roy比赛的老棒球迷们一定都会和我一样，在那个瞬间感慨万千潸然泪下吧。。

验的，这就是为啥红袜和阳极根本对peavy没兴趣的原因。halladay非常consistant,如
果能用bucholz+bard+非top的prospect换来还是值得的。 |

一块名表。包括batboy大概送出去了60块。上周肥力还在主场
给他举行了那场perfect game的纪念仪式。BSO之后Halladay就
怂掉了。算上今天，三场比赛已经surrender 6 homerun了。
呵呵
今年NL CY很搞笑。一个月前看起来是Wainright的，现在看
起来说不清。给Latos, Johnson, Wainright, Hudson或者
Halladay都合理。就看九月份大家怎么搞了。 |

What happened was totally unacceptable. It took Phillies years to build up a
good farm system. By July this year, the top four prospects in the organiza
tion were Brown, Drabek, Taylor ,and Knapp. Knapp was traded to Cleveland

Lee. Now Drabek and Taylor are moved to Jays for Halladay. In the end, Phil
lies EMPTIED the farm system just to get Halladay. This is beyond stupid...
I completely do not get the point. |

都说红袜是front runner。据说只要肯出Clay Buchholz就成了。我觉得这对红袜是好的

不拿LaPorta和Escobar 和一个 top pitching prospect。去年Santana的时候也说要洋
基或者红袜拿出天价来才卖。回头都不是这这样。

不可能一次都送出去。
不过，Halladay很不一样，我觉得是大联盟最好的投手。所以用两个otherwise nontou
chable的换还是可能的。 |

bucholz + Bowden + Anderson 换了halladay基本没法搞twins或者阿三的捕手了。而
且ss现在是最大短板。 |

Prospects are different from prospects. There is a reason why Phillies
were adamant last season about NOT trading Drabek and Brown to Jays for
Halladay, and instead, went to the Lee route.
Baseball America just one month ago ranked Phillies farm system the 4th
overall, for the very reason that the top tier of prospects are cannot-
miss. Of course, projection can be wrong, just look at Mark Prior. But
generally speaking, when a prospect reaches double A and still dominate |

among Clayton Kershaw, Cliff Lee, and Roy Halladay. Arguments
can be made for anyone. In terms of ERA+, Halladay ties with Lee
at 159 with Kershaw @ 155. This was before today.
Today, Halladay pitched his 9th CG and first SO this season.
Kershaw is also pitching a gem, 5 innings of one hit game so far.
Tomorrow it is Cliff Lee's turn.
I think Kershaw will win it because votes will be splitted between

上一章写过了本世纪初洋基红袜响尾蛇交相辉映的那个时代，现在终于开始轮到写我最
熟悉的这批当代牛投们了。。。SI曾评选过一个MLB在00-09年间的all-decade team，
结果深与我心有戚戚焉--五位rotation投手就是我上一章写过的那三位大牛Pedro，
Johnson，Schilling，再加上新生代的两位翘楚Halladay & Santana。的确，如果要写
这个世纪以来最好的投手们，我心里大概有一个六七个人的名单，其中Doc本来就是排
在第一位的，他是我心目中这个时代的顶尖投手的代表，是ace of the aces，而现在
他的去世更坚定了我要用专门的一章来dedicate给他的想法，就像其他爱他的人用
youtube上的tribute videos来纪念他一样，希望能够向这位在我熟悉棒球的年代最稳
定最有统治力最优秀的投手致以一份深深的景仰和敬意(当然，还有无尽的惋惜与伤痛)。

y will not win it. But he has been so consistent throughout the year. If it
were not for the great Mets pen, he would have close to 20 wins and Mets are
now in the playoffs.
In AL, I like what Roy Halladay more than Cliff Lee. Granted I have always l
iked Halladay so my opinion is biased. But I like the fact that he picked 20
more innings than Cliff Lee and has a lower WHIP and better K number...

突然想写点儿关于棒球的东东。。。起因有二，一是前几天阿童木夺冠的时候，看
到Verlander,Beltran,McCann这些名字感觉是那么的熟悉而又陌生，恍惚间有种
沧海桑田前世今生的深深感慨。。。和好几个曾经一起看过棒球的朋友聊起，都感
觉生娃带娃似乎像一道分水岭，把我们心中属于那个时代的记忆几乎完全给隔断
了，以至于平时已经再也想不起来。。。当时我就产生了想写点儿什么以把那一段
的记忆重新给唤醒的冲动，但因为很忙并且一直也没有找到一个很好的切入点来开
篇，就一直迷迷糊糊地那么拖着，直到suddenly发生了Halladay的tragic
accident。。。it really hit me hard，我自己都不知道是为什么，我并不曾
是他或者是蓝鸟/菲力的粉丝，按理说我不应该感到非常的难过，但事实就是我足足

，一名三轮车夫拉她们2.9英里(约4.7公里)短短距离，却收取500美元的天价费用。
这三名游客是44岁的海拉迪(Jennifer Halladay)、40岁的西蒙斯(Mary Simons)以
及37岁的海尔考姆(Jen Halcomb)。她们三人于6月14日下午5时左右，在时报广场招来
三轮车夫丹尼佐夫(Lbraiym Denizov)，请他送她们去东村的一家酒吧。
海拉迪说，丹尼佐夫拉车非常危险，不但距离汽车很近，而且在机动车辆中穿行，
令她们三人以为会丧命车祸。
她们事先没有讲好价格，但是她们之前曾搭乘其它三轮车，因此对于这段仅仅2.9

I did not follow this season closely so I have no way to comment on
the CG story. And I know Cliff Lee will win it. I am just saying that
the way imo Halladay is a better pitcher, this year. Don't forget who
he has to face day in and day out.
I personally hate this win stuff in CY conversations. I remember a few
years Unit was robbed in plain daysight by the voters simply because
he had fewer wins than Roger Clemens. The way the voting goes is not
always fair. |

than Halladay. Particularly, Lee relys more on infield defence,
yet Indians infield is average at best.
