world, including China, 中国移动 and 中国联通 (中国电信 uses CDMA), use GSM
900 / 1800 frequencies.
For 3G, only HSDPA 2100 frequency from that handset may be used for 中国联通
. 中国移动 uses TD-SCDMA 1900 / 2000 frequencies, which are not used
anywhere else.
So, this handset is not much of use outside of the US. |

year old 5.8Ghz one has two handsets and works very much, very clear, with
lots of features. just that batteries are dying... 4.5 years after all. i am

下，机子比skype贵一倍多，其他international call收费差不多,打中国ooma贵0.2分
钱。skype有个connection fee,ooma好像有plan就不chargec connection fee。但
skype要每年交$30块才能接受regular phone call，ooma没这个费用。买skype的机子1
年内打美国加拿大是free的，1年后就不知道;ooma除了monthly tax，打美国算免费，
而且号称landline quality，skype handset声音没那么清晰，当然也可能瓶颈在
handset，电脑上skype音质还是不错的。
当然了，一般手机足够了，没必要折腾这个。有skype帐号，手机上就可以make
international call，不过要事先电脑设置好。

My Verizon wireless phone broke down (still six months to go before my
2-year plan expires). and I would like to have a temporary phone to
use for that period of time.
If you have a functioning second-hand Verizon wireless handset to get
rid of, please let me know. As long as it still works (it does not have
to be camera phone or smart phone)... I am willing to pay some $ for
it.
