If you get 10000 letters from thousands of people talking about the same
thing, that's an important message that you need to take seriously.
At the very least, why not let the message receivers decide for themselves

Employment law里面对于sexual harassment的界定其实相当宽泛，很多案例哪怕当时
双方都你情我愿同意发生性行为，之后一方都可以起诉另一方骚扰。所以你汇报没有什

我们这里正式工作以前，必须接受这方面的培训考试。
sex harassment有时候没有明确的界定标准，只要员工感觉到not comfortable
就算harassment。比如开个黄色小笑话，拍一下大腿什么的，只要觉得不舒服，
就算。
关键是未必会开除对方，一般就是hr找他谈话，记录。可能会和他上司谈。
但是要开除可能要屡次犯，才会。
而且不用担心报复。因为hr有记录，以后报复，会让他更麻烦。美国人思维
和中国人不一样。中国人讲和谐，美国人讲professional。告他以后，他只能
老老实实，如果有其他行为，只会给他自己找麻烦。 |

一开始就说得很清楚B是问题关键，后面自己把A扯进来，又把C和其他女同事扯进来，
说什么自己的美国朋友分析是因为自己穿得太漂亮，见人笑眯眯，人家把自己当成了
sexual object，又说啥C关心自己有没有男朋友，A说过做过类似harass的动作，其他
女同事social上孤立自己。。。blahblah扯了一大堆，好像这些才是导致自己PIP的主
要原因似的。你自己回去爬爬楼看清楚。
如果就是B，理后面那么多干嘛？穿得漂亮、见人笑眯眯、白人女同事对亚裔女不理不
睬，这些和PIP到底有没有关系？我其实是想提醒她理清顺序，不要见风就是雨，疑神
疑鬼，搞得谁都扯进来。但如果她确信A是harass，又有证据，这的确可以是个很好的
把柄，比B、C那些不着边际的证据强多了 |

了“感觉”不舒服就可以定性了。所以在公司说话确实要很谨慎。但是如果别人说了什
么让你不舒服，你要不要告别人harassment就是另一回事了，因为实际操作起来牵扯的
因素可能比较多，处理结果、会不会有后遗症都因人而异。比如说，你自己有背景，很

Harrassment in a Big company can happen. My previous direct report was a
victim of harassment her previous company which was a big and well known
company. Before her joining my previous team, her career was almost
completely destroyed. One more thing the bigger the company, the harder to
fight on harassment case. They just know how to deal with it.

A在上个月April Fool当天向B开了个玩笑,他在B背后贴了一个"Pinch me"的纸条.一些
朋友及不相干的看着有趣就去pinch B了.
没有幽默感的B发现后, 勃然大怒, 立马向Manager C反应. C笑笑说这是April Fool的
trick,别太认真了.
于是B向HR反应harassment. HR出重手, 所有pinch过B的人外加没有及时上报HR的
Manager C, 全部Fire.
B把这些人Fire了还不够,还到法庭控告这些人criminal assault,要求巨额赔偿 |

他还真是猪八戒倒打一耙。做过一点点research就会知道，当时的严重暴力和恐吓都是
所谓的正常人针对ppl with different sexual orientation进行的。在被惨绝人寰的
