(2) Well, she may not look beautiful (and I thought so upon seeing the
photograph of the couple). However, remember this is only one photo. One can
not judge a book by its cover.
Moreover, , some others for intelligence, still others for a prestigious
college, and there are those for money.
Regarding the first proposition, that some people marry for beauty. I though
Ms. Jennifer Harbury and her finance (apparently she married him after his
death, see my reference |

年来，按照美国宪法修正案第14条规定，凡在美国出生的人都是美国公民，不论他们的
父母是不是。但德州另有打算。
去年开始，德州拒绝给出生在该州但父母无证的孩子开出生证明。5月，4名女性将德州
的卫生部门告上法庭，认为他们违反了联邦政府的移民规定。
为这些女性辩护的律师珍妮弗·哈伯瑞(Jennifer Harbury)表示，从来没见过这么多女
性遭遇这个问题。以前也有个别人被拒绝，但最后总能解决。这次情况有些不同。
据悉，一些人被拒绝是因为她们无法证实自己的身份。据州法律规定，允许人们在没有
德州驾驶证或美国护照的情况下，使用外国身份证。

consular(墨西哥领事馆颁发的一种证件，适用美国境内的墨西哥非法移民)、外国护照
