发帖数: 2506 | 8 面对两个job offer，实在难选择啊。一个是MD北部（harford县），一个是中西部大学
城。
都说东部生活方便，我猜是指购物买菜？中西部玉米地人少没踹飞客，周末逛个mall下
班买个菜也都挺方便的啊，当然菜的种类比较少。。。healthcare？大学城有很不错的
医学院，children hospitral更是全美排名靠前。。。
都说东岸华人多，热闹，左邻右舍都是中国人的周末串串门吃吃饭聊聊天让娃娃们一起
玩，可是这个harford county华人寥寥无几，版上似乎只见过3个ID是那边的。DC的华
人大社区的热闹离我们也太远了。
关键是房价，玉米地24万买2000年以后的2000尺SFH，MD北部只能买个旧的town home还
不带garage。而且据去NJ做intern的同学回来汇报，东岸的超市里的grocery真的比玉
米地的贵。。。
可是MD也有吸引人的地方，去DC 1.5小时，费城1+小时，newark机场3小时，想象中可
以带娃去逛各大博物馆科技馆水族馆动物园，老人来探亲可以直接落地newark也不用转
机，以后LP找工作似乎也容易些毕竟周围大城市多些。玉米地的大... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 1476 | 9 Bel Air is heart of Harford county。治安没问题，harford好象就edgewood这一带治安差了些。不错的地方，这只是相对而言，和DC metro这种国人扎堆的地方当然比不了。美国真正的大城市不多，很多地方都属于乡下。我也在Harford工作生活，无聊的乡下日子，但生活成本也低很多。 |

综合CNN和福克斯新闻报导，马州哈福德县（Harford County）警长办公室周三上
午表示，有五人在马里兰州埃奇伍德（Edgewood）一个办公园区被枪击，枪手在逃。
当局表示，枪击发生在巴尔的摩东北约30英里的埃奇伍德埃蒙顿商业园区（
Emmorton Business Park），枪手作案后离开了现场，目前尚无人被捕。
哈福德县警长杰弗里·加勒（Jeffrey Gahler）说，五名中弹者中的三人在其埃奇

都很近，交通方便。出租的是一个Split Level House二层的一间卧室，有自己的卫生
间。二层总共有三个卧室，但是卫生间只有两个，所以任何时候都只会有两个房客。房
东住一楼，但是她自己的厨房卫生间都在一楼，基本上不上来。住在二楼的两个房客共

省事. 直接到机场得ground transportation给primetimeshuttle打电话. 他们就会来接
你. 不推荐你作ct transit.
Yale得火车站是union station.
回去得时候最好还是做primetimeshuttle去harford得机场. 我估计你是来面试得. Good
