poker...
then 2008, fewer, 2009, so far only once.
from diamond -> plantium -> (soon) gold, sigh, they treat diamond members
well ah, a lot of free room opportunities, diamond club (free food), diamond
line (fast track), free redbull/bottled beers (others need to pay), extra
coupons, ...
now look back, i think i should start online first to gain more hand
experience, then some live. |

but basically:
1) you can take friday off, and head to AC early in the morning (play some
cash games and wait for check-in);
2) or you can go there after work in the evening, meet for food and play;
3) or you can even come on sat.
4) we can leave sunday evening/night, although the check-out can be as late
as monday noon. |

for 1/2NL games, if you play a full day (12 hours), you can get about 300
base points. you need 10K points before 12/31 to become a diamond, 4K for
plantium.
if you play some higer limit poker, or slots, 21, craps... you can make it
even faster. |

1) when you get to a table, ask floor manager to swipe you in as soon as
possible.
2) leave your card on the table when you go out for a break or food, they
may come to swipe everyone in after a few hours (to kick out those who left
after last swipe). i normally leave the card face down, if you don't want
others to see your name, etc;
3) get one or more duplicate cards. so you can play some slots while on
break and earn points on both sides. or you can give one to your friend
or wi |

My plan is to play one tourney on friday and one on saturday. My wife only
allows me to bring $1000. So if I win some money from cash games, I would
register Sunday $ 1,100 WSOP main event satellite too. haha.. If not, maybe
sunday second chance $230, haha. |

1/2 NL cash game. 4-way action pre-flop (I'm in BB and checked). I had 3s 6s
, flop was As Qs Js, I reraised to $25 against player X's $6 bet (he is in
the buttom). I'm trying to push him out in case he had a big spade.
Unfortunately player Y check-raised me to $75. Player X folded thereafter.
I eventually folded and he showed Ks, 8s.
Sigh.

I am in the SB and dealt pocket of 3. Player A (UTG) and B (UTG+2) limped in
and player C raised to $12. I called and so as player A & B.

3) AA and KK are out of question here.
i guess A has AsXs, and is gambling. i guess he's not check shoving with a
Kx hand;
B limp calls $12 pre, and is first to act on flop and bets $25 into a $50
pot (with potential flush draw out there), kind of interesting.
C looks like over playing Kx hand with his relatively short stack. he has a
hand with his pre-flop action. AK or KQ fits well.
as for your hand, very tough with bottom set. i' |
