Highway 才开 45-50 mph? 小心吃 ticket.
其实这种开起来没什么困难，只有在小路转弯时注意一下就可以了。所谓“转弯 是
wide turn" 说过头了，除非你在 subdivision 的小路上。 |

this super long rear door that needs the entire parking lot to be empty to
be opened.
- most minivan drivers unload passengers before pulling into a parking space.

基本上注意以下几点：
1. 小区小路上的转弯要小心，必要时向左借道或者拐过去后借用对象车道；
2. 倒车最好叫人在旁边指挥一下。因为你看不到正后方。
3. 上路之前一定要把后视镜都调好。这种车有很大的后视镜，几乎没有盲区（正后方
除外）。前提是你要把后视镜都调到适合的的位置。
4. 高速公路上注意车距和车速。如果你是第一次开的话。
5. 服务区停车休息的时候，和18轮停一块儿。这样省的倒车。
其实开的熟了，觉得开这车比开小车爽多了。 |

是简单多了。
而且拖车，只拖两个轮子的，不能倒车，所以你旅店，停车场都要事先找好了。
非要自己拖车，给你个建议就是800MILE，你至少走3天，另外保险一定要买好，忘了U-
HAUL最多是多少来着，反正如有GEICO那种什么UMBRELLA的$1,000,000, 你可以考虑上br />
看来你东西不多，居然10'就够了，何必用UHAUL呢？
估计你也没多少家具，否则10’根本不够。把你的旧床扔了，ikea新的FULL SIZE的也
就$200,你Uhaul这一趟最少也得$800以上，加上旅馆住宿等等。
还不如能邮的邮，该扔的扔，开着你自己的车去。 |

查了一下数据，4x7d的utility trailer比4x8的cargo trailer轻220lbs，所以应该能
给车减少负担
但是我从网上reserve，却无法reserve 4x7的utility trailer（图1），而只能
reserve 4x8或5x8的cargo trailer（图2），或者只让我租5x9 utility trailer（图3）
所以不知道是U-Haul的utility trailer只租给in-town moving，还是也可以租来用
cross-country moving |

6月27日从大农村搬家到NYC。在家门口卸货时吃了张parking ticket，$115刀。
这种parking ticket属于选择性执法，也就是有的车不给ticket，有的给。真给你了你
也没啥好反驳的。$115刀就认栽了吧。
仔细看了看随ticket给的那个红色信封上说明，NYC规定罚款应在30天内收到。这里也
有说明：
Parking Ticket Payments
Follow the instructions on the back of the ticket. Respond early enough to
allow for mail delivery. Finance must receive your response to the ticket by
the 30th day from the date the ticket was issued.

坏了，工头当时说要赔偿，我就只拍照了现场，和工头的驾照。车子是工头自己租来的
U-haul，工头没意外险，自己的车险也不保U-haul。
我们几个月后找人把栏杆修好了，600刀收据发给工头，实报实销，每次工头都说付钱
，然后就没下文了，来回四五次。
想去小额法庭告他，查了些资料，就算他存心赖账，也很麻烦，要雇佣警察去他家强
行拍卖资产抵债。不知道还能不能要回来了，如不值得折腾，就算了，希望大家给些意

出来，那停进去的时候不得想想后果吗？哈哈。特别是，技术差开卡车，但为了吃中国

lowe's是38美分 per sqft for old carpet removal and haul away,

对了，LOWE'S地毯可以没有pad，home depot好像没有看见这个option呀。不过家里边

我上回租了个第二小的u-haul，高速上只有8-9mpg，400迈要接近50gallon油，这个油

后预订住酒店。
你可以去租车搬家网站看看，他们还有提供临时放家具的办法，或者再麻烦一点找一个
STORAGE, 自己住几天酒店。
要是一个月以内不能过户，还是延期公寓比较好。 |
