我孩子不到三岁，15个月因为发育滞后开始接受EI治疗，18个月时EI机构严重怀疑自闭
，排队几个月后21个月在美国top5的权威儿童医院拿到经典自闭的诊断之后一直接受强
度很大的各种训练。。我不常来逛这个坛子，因为我家孩子让我担心的地方，和这里家
长们通常讨论的东西，根本搭不上边。。大家在讨论怎么推娃，上什么兴趣班的时候，
我担忧的是怎么以后能够让娃生活自理，自立而不拖累这个社会，怎么学会和人交流（
说话都是其次的），奢侈点的想法是，怎么主流化，怎么能够自己有一个somewhat
meaningful的生活，父母离开人世的时候，也能让孩子可以有尊严的活着。我们这样家
庭的种种challenge，不是常人能够理解的，我也从没有奢望过普通父母能体会我们的
痛苦。。。但是看到了最近的热贴，有些id对我们这些可怜的家庭们的各种不太善意的
猜测，非常震惊。当然，也同时看到很多general ed， gifted ed的家长们的同情和爱
心，和让人温暖感动的话，在这里也想替我们这些家庭，谢谢你们的支持。

，儿医那里都能问到。General pediatrician，甚至EI的人，很多都不具备诊断的经验
，网友们，就更没有了。。。我自己原来上网问过，大家绝大部分说，你的孩子没事，
就是晚点，长长就好了，然后无数的人举出来某熟人朋友开口多晚多晚，长大了一点事

想起了几年前，我还在得克萨斯大学做RA的时候的一件事儿。这件事直到现在还偶尔浮
现在我脑海中，当时那一瞬间的感觉，后来我对此事的反思和道德伦理上的思考等。
Haunted了我很是有一阵。直到现在我都不太敢在海里游泳。
那一天，实验室的人去海边采样，采样完了实验室的几个人也顺便在海边游了一会儿。
当时看着海浪挺好，大概不到1米高，我们想着，去扑一扑海浪也是极好的。
于是，我们就去了。扑啊扑啊，甚是happy。过了不知多久，大概下午5点的样子吧，我
突然发现我的脚碰不到水底了，当时心里一点儿小慌。后来查到，应该是碰上了离岸流
（rip currents），我就开始往回游，游了几下，觉得脚还是碰不到底，而且明显感到
这海浪一上一下是把我渐行渐远地往深海处拉！

多少次，迎着冷眼和嘲笑，从未放弃心中的理想，一霎那恍惚，梦里发现身是客。
经过多少迷途，问我到底何时觉悟。
坐在大学的电脑房里，我知道，这个电脑该死的中文系统，如同我现在的心，半天出来

毕竟，我出国了。
来美国之前，从没有料到在美国赶时髦会这么艰难。上海的时候，我稍微从象牙塔里往
外走几步，就可以轻轻松松地混入小市民队伍，上海话嘎嘎山河，触触壁脚也好，触触
霉头也好，都是其乐融融，一不小心，说不定还能获得市政府颁发的小市民荣誉证书呢
。赶美国的时髦时，我竟然格格不入，真是匪夷所思。
首先赶不上趟的是夏天到海滩上晒太阳。刚到美国，那真是文化震撼，精心呵护的细皮
嫩肉，在这里居然一钱不值！我们上海杭州的女孩们呕心沥血地防晒，这里的时髦却是
