he didn't follow up, now Langer got eveything lah.
The first author did postdoc in Langer's group.
Before that, only several Macromol Chem Phys papers under Suter in ETH.

the surface energy may be tuned in a wider range.
it seems to me from the paper that they are the first to use crosslinked
random copolymer to tune the surface energy.
just curious why people didn't do it earlier...

copolymers has been regular practice in adhesive industry. Do you use "post
it" by 3M? That's a crosslinked acrylic copolymer, and dated back to 1970s.

A little bit more:
I am not working in chemistry. But as far as I know, besides Frechet, people
like Virgil Percec (UPenn), Hawker CJ (IBM) are also quite active in the
field. Frechet himself regards Percec as one of most creative polymer chemists
at present. Hawker worked as a postdoc for Frechet for a while. Some of the
neat stuffs from Hawker may not appear in articles first, due to the nature of

首先hawker centre肯定不收，你们说的是那种shopping mall里面的？我估计是看档次
，比如翡翠肯定收，但是我去的那个Jurong point （Boon lay mrt) 也算是个挺有名
的mall啊，在mall里面我问了至少4个，卖点心，白咖啡，还有甜品的，都不收，然后
在这个mall外面有一圈卖吃的的，比一般的hawker centre 干净很多。我是专门去的其
中一个叫西北人家的吃面食，这一圈都不收的。
然后说那个收据的事情，我明白如果你要收据那肯定营业额会统计，问题是这种小贩中
心似的有谁要收据啊？？反正我没看见他主动给过谁收据... |
